Don’t abuse the power you have been given.

Its important that when God blesses us to excel and lifts us up that we treat others rightly.

We shouldn’t use the authority or the role we have been given to suppress others. It doesn’t matter if we have received awards or if we have a role as a leader at church , we should remember that God loves us as much as He loves those who have less in wealth or authority than us , whether it be physical or spiritual.

We shouldn’t abuse the power we have been given. The greatest leader is one who knows how to serve others. Because they do not see leadership as an opportunity to control others , but an opportunity to bring the best out of others.

They will not allow their positions to blind them and treat others as though they are inferior to them. Because they realise that it is God that brings growth. They realise that no matter their authority they are not more human than someone who doesn’t have the same authority.

Don’t use your authority to abuse others. Use your authority to bring the best out of others , so God will be glorified.

In the book of Esther 3, Haman was promoted by King Ahasuerus, and He had been given great authority in the land by the king. The bible says ” the king advanced Haman and set his seat above all the princes who were with Him.

But Haman abused the authority He had been given by planning to destroy all the Jews because Mordecai( Esther’s uncle refused to bow) . Because Mordecai would not bow He planned to kill Him and everyone else from His clan.
Haman was given authority but He wanted to use what He had to suppress others who had less authority than Him.

It is not in God’s will that anyone will be suppressed by their fellow Human being. It is not in God’s will that anyone should use their authority to abuse others. It is not in God’s will that anyone should be treated badly because of their background or position.
Whats so amazing is that the same person Haman planned to destroy , was the same person God lifted up and replaced Haman’s position with. God can always replace and remove us from any position if we treat others badly and do not humble ourselves. God removed Haman from His seat and replaced Him with the same person He was planning to oppress and destroy. We must be careful who we treat badly, in fact we must treat everyone with love. The tables can switch at anytime. If we are not willing to love and serve others when God has blessed us , God can take it all away.
Love others and treat others with Love, because their background or position does not define who they are. The same God who created you created them and Loves them as much as He loves you.

Not on God’s watch

Sometimes there may have been decisions taken without you even knowing about what was happening. Its not because you chose not to be there, its because you were not even aware that such a thing was happening. Its not because God didnt want you to know. Its because God wants you to learn to trust Him, even when something looks final in the eyes of man. God wants you to know that, even if you were not aware that such a thing was happening He does. He is aware, He is all knowing. God did not tell you such and such was plotting, and such and such is going to happen. Because He wants you to be aware He is working behind the scenes. The things you are unaware of , or you don’t understand is all going to work out for your good.

Sometimes you only find out about the outcome of situations and you may be surprised by what has happened. But hold on, trust God, He will make all things work together for your good. You may not understand now, but He does.

In the book of Esther 3, Haman had already been to see the king and finalised a decision to kill the jews. Mordecai was not even aware that the decision had been finalised. He was not there when Haman, went to the King to organise for the jews to be killed. Mordecai was not there , But God was. The king decision had been confirmed, sealed, but Mordecai did not know. Even Esther who was in the Kings palace was not aware that such a decision had been finalised and a plot organised, but God was aware.
God will not allow decisions about you to be taken out of your hands. They think they have made decisions without you in it, but God’s hands is already in it, And so you don’t have to be there , the decisions will work in your favour… Rest .. God has got your back covered

The fact that the decisions were made right under esther’s nose, didnt mean that God could not turn it around. Some decisions are made, even without your consultation, but God will have the final say. Whether you were aware or unaware, God will have the final say. So rest in Him.
They plotted without you knowing, but Their plots are not unknown to God. You didnt know a storm was coming, but God allowed the storm to come , so you can be aware of the greatness He has placed in you to overcome that storm. ; an overcoming spirit ; You are more than a conqueror
The steps of the righteous are ordered. You don’t have to know what has been layed down to divert your steps. Because God has His eyes on you. Whether you know what ‘s coming or not, He will direct your steps.

God allowed the decision to finalise, so you can understand when He says there is nothing too hard for Him. It doesn’t matter how far from coming back to life that decision looks. It doesn’t matter how long the situation has remained dormant.it doesnt matter what shock and effects the decision has created, God is able to turn it around. He can do exceedingly abundantly , above all that we could ever ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians3:20)

Heed the warnings God gives you

Heed the warnings God gives you.

image

We don’t have to wait for everything to get worse before we seek God’s face. Sometimes God is speaking to us very quietly through circumstances. God is speaking to us through people, God is telling us to get out of certain relationships. Get out and stop going to certain places that we keep going. God is telling us to stop connecting our selves with certain things that we are doing or stop repeating certain behaviours. And God keeps warming and warning and warning us, but we keep going that way. And we go that way and we stop and realise, and God forgives us. And after God forgives us we go back to the old ways that we used to walk in .

And Nebucchadnezer was deffinitely someone that I believe the Lord spoke through circumstances to wake Him up and direct Him into His will. But He kept walking out of God’s will by serving other idols and walking in pride. And with Nebuchadnezer , even though God gave Daniel wisdom and revelation not only to reveal His dream but also interpret it, He was amazed for a time, and glorified God , but went back to His old ways again of pride and Idolatory. And again God used Shadrach Meshach and abed-Nego to show Nebuchadnezer that He is the only true and living God,and that was still not enough for Him To change. He glorified God for a moment , but still went back in His old ways.

God can keep warning us through circumstances, and will draw us to Him through His mighty power, by allowing us to witness the amazing miracles He can do. But when we don’t listen and keep walking down the old road. The warning stops happening around us and we become the victims or slaves of our own sin. In the sense that the sins will bruise us and break us, and that sin can even become an attitude, but God doesn’t want it to get to that extent.
2 peter 3:27 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness,

Galatians 6:7Don’t be misled– you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.

In Daniel 5, Ndbuchadnezzer started to reap the products of His sin. God’s warning through dreams and miracles was not enough to change Him. So now He had experience the change before He surrendered. God gave Him time to change.

We should not allow our eyes to be fooled, when we see people living out of God’s will and things look as if they are going on well. God has a set time for everything and He gives them time to change.

Nebucchadnezer went from Living on the throne to been driven out from his throne to eating grass like an animal, a His body started to transform into the features of a bird.

Daniel 5:33
That very hour the word was fulfilled concerning Nebuchadnezzar; he was driven from men and ate grass like oxen; his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair had grown like Eagles’ feathers and his nails like birds’ claws.

But God been so merciful, when Nebuchadnezzar repented and praised God and acknowledged that God is the Most High and only God and humbled himself, God restored everything back to Him.

We don’t have to get to the level where God has stripped everything of us, before we learn to recognize Him. The little warnings God gives you now , heed them. The convictions you get when you go to that place, or involve yourself in that relationship, don’t ignore them. Wake up now. We don’t have to wait for things to get worse or broken or destroyed before we wake up.

God restored everything Nebuchadnezzer lost, but which meant He had to loose it all, and almost go crazy. And that’s good because God restored Him. But we don’t have to go through a process of even loosing it, if we heed the warnings and obey Him first. If we just listen to Him and do as He tells us. We don’t have to go through a process of loosing everything first. We need to learn to be humble and listen. We don’t have to get to that stage where God has stripped everything of us, don’t have to get to that stage of being on the sick bed, been involved in accident or gunshot, or a even to the extent of death before we wake up. We don’t have to wait for a hurricane to come, when God has already showed us a storm. We give dominion over to sin when we disobey God. Because sin will wreck us.

Seek God for Wisdom

image
2 But Samuel asked, “How can I do that? If Saul hears about it, he will kill me.” “Take a heifer with you,” the Lord replied, “and say that you have come to make a sacrifice to the Lord. 3 Invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you which of his sons to anoint for me.” Some decisions in life need to be taken wisely. Some decisions can have serious consequences. The wrong decisions can lead you in the wrong direction. Some decisions are not to be taken abruptly and you need to seek God for wisdom.
Even if God told you to do something, you need to seek His face on how to do it. You need to seek His face on the steps to take to get there. You may not receive the answers straight away but that will test how patient you are. That will test whether you will continue to wait on God or use your own ideas.
Samuel asked God how He can anoint David whiles Saul was still on the throne. He spoke to God about How He feels. He told God what He was thinking. He didn’t hide what was running through His carnal mind from God.

James 1:5New Living Translation (NLT)If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.
God cares about how we feel. When He tells us to do something, instead of pretending we understand and run quickly and get it done, we need to ask Him to help us do what He’s asked us to do. Unless He gives us the boldness how can we do it? Unless He gives us the strength how can we make it through?
God created you and knows everything He’s placed within you to make it through. But you can’t do it until you seek Him to show you what He’s placed in you to overcome. You won’t know until you ask Him to help you see yourself the way He sees you.

We don’t know the outcome of every decision we take in life. But we are assured that when we involve God in every decision that we take, the outcome will be good. Because He is all knowing, omnipotent , wants and has the best for us. And He created the day you will receive the results of your decisions. Nothing is hidden from God.
Hebrews 4:13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.

But because we can’t see the outcome yet we sometimes become afraid. But thats’s when taking your eyes of everything and putting your eyes on the almighty father steps in. That’s when trusting God and holding unto His promises steps in.
I remember a time straight after graduating from university, I took a break and then started applying for jobs. I had already written down on paper and prayed to God about where I wanted to work. But after applying to this place I wanted to work I did not get a response.  But after that I crossed out where I wanted to work and felt led to pray for God’s will and wisdom in making decisions. So there was a job been advertised which was soo not near my house😳 and the salary was lower than the other job I wanted initially, and every time the job came up, the Holy Spirit prompted me to apply. But I kept putting it of, because the money was less than the other jobs and it was a bit further from my house.

image
So every time the job came up I put it off, whiles I worked other jobs relating to my studies but not exactly my field 😩. But one day when I saw the job advertised I felt in my spirit to apply, and unbelievably I sent my application 1 minute before the deadline. A week later they called me for interview. I thought to myself  “I will just go and learn some interview questions/ practice. But when I woke up that morning , I was tempted not to go, I was a bit afraid 😫 ,  I also almost felt like “what’s the point of this long journey and expensive ticket when I know I don’t want to go so far”. But after praying God gave me the confidence  and the Holy Spirit assured me that I will be fine.
At the interview I didn’t know a lot of answers. But the Holy Spirit took control, and I just kept blabbing away with answers I never even learnt.  God gave me  wisdom on how to go about answering some questions. I was not afraid 👀, I was so relaxed and there were a few questions I couldn’t answer, but the interview panel Also kept giving me clues. I was like 😭😭, I was so amazed at what God did. I mean I didn’t have much answers in my brain since I spent most of my time telling myself ” I will go and just learn questions”.
Glory be to God I got the job. And the salary advertised online was not the complete salary. There was extra allowances which was not mentioned on the application form when advertised online.  The salary was even more than the job I wanted which rejected my application. I learnt soo much from working there and by God’s grace. Yes the journey was not easy but It was a great place to start my first job and a good foundation to build my confidence for my career. Glory be to God 🙏🙌 There was some extra allowances which meant the salary was even more

Purpose behind your Pain.

I never really used to understand when people say there is purpose behind your pain. For me it sounded like You mean I Didn’t go through all this for no reason? I didn’t fight this battle for no reason? But one faithful day I grasped and experienced what it meant by Purpose behind the pain. That whatever you went through was not meant to kill you, it wasn’t meant to define who you are, but God will help you overcome it and use you to help others in a similar situation for His glory. I came to understand that it wasn’t all about me, that there are loads more people who were broken. That I needed to keep my eyes on Jesus and seek Him to fill the brokenness within me. That Jesus came for the broken, lost, confused, weary. That I couldn’t allow anything from the past that made me broken to keep me in bondage. That all authority in Heaven and on earth belongs to Jesus and nothing that I’ve faced could hold me down because He gave me authority to use His name which is above all.

So I got up that morning just hungry to spend time with God. The time I spent in the morning before work was not enough. So I decided that at lunch time at work I would spend time in the prayer room at work. I prayed and worshiped and had my quiet time to listen. But in the middle of waiting I sadly started sleeping. I can’t believe I slept. Then I woke up again and began to worship, but then a lady walked into the prayer room and sat a few seats behind me. I toned down my voice and I felt to turn my head again and watch. I turned my head again to worship but I felt to stop and watch her again. Then I just asked Her, ” Are you alright” she replied “Yes” but then tears started rolling down her face. I got up from my seat and went to sit next to her. I hugged her and the tears were even more. She then spoke to me and said she has been tortured so much by people in the past. With words of abuse from people close to her and even her past relationship. And now that she is free from those people her mind is still caught up in the past. She is free physically but her mind has not recovered from the abusive names and labels from the past. Her mind is still bound to the past and she doesn’t know how to be free. She doesn’t know how to escape torturous voices and she just doesn’t see how she can be free and live. The medication and therapy from the doctors wasn’t making a difference. As she spoke I held her hand, God gave me words to encourage her. Even though tears strolled down her face, she began to smile, I spoke with words of hope, words of strength, words of power and words of someone who didn’t see why I needed to live at a point in my life, but God kept me. As I finished speaking she asked me to pray for with her. I prayed with her and Hugged her. She had the biggest smile on her face, she continuously kept saying thank you.
As I was returning back to work I stopped for a moment and thanked God for using me. I thanked God for using me to reach to someone who was broken from her past just as I was.I thank God for giving me strength and healing me of the thoughts of hopelessness that nearly led me to take my life when I was young. I thanked God for keeping me to see that day and giving me the strength and peace to overcome so He could use me to help someone else who felt the same way about life.

image

I don’t know what you’ve been through. I don’t know what words or situations from the past has kept you in bondage. You are not hopeless because of your past. You are valuable because of who you belong to; Jesus. He has given you life today because He Loves you and you have a purpose on this earth. Don’t allow your past pain to steal the bright future God has for you. Take the pain, the brokeness, the emptiness to God. Stop crying about what you went through and cry out to God. God doesn’t want your mind on your pain, He wants your mind to be on Him.  Only Jesus can set you free.

Glory be be to God
I will be still and know you are GOD.

God has put in us everything we need in order to do what He has called us to do. But….

1. God requires us to obey Him. Obedience is better than sacrifice ( 1 samuel 15:22) .God hasn’t created a bunch of rules just for the sake of it. He created you and loves you and has the best plans for you. He knows what will harm and destroy you and He doesn’t want you to be destroyed. He knows everything about you and nothing on this earth is hidden from Him ( Hebrews 4:13) because He created everything. For the wages of sin is death. Sin will reward with death of the soul and body.  Unrepentant sin is followed by punishment. And God doesn’t want that for you. He has great plans for you when you walk in His obedience, because He can direct you and lead you to accomplish your purpose here on earth and also spend eternity with Him.When you know the best plan for your life, will you follow any other plan? How can God tell you and lead you to the next step if you don’t obey His last order?

And thats what happened to the Israelites, when Moses returned from God’s revelation about building the tabernacle, they were worshiping idols. And the information God gave Moses was put on hold. Until they changed their heart and got rid of the idols. Then God forgave them and revealed to them everything He wanted them to do. They didn’t know about any of the skills and wisdom God placed inside of them until they repented. Until we repent and walk in the light we won’t know the next move. Before God could accept the sacrifices from the Israelites, they had to repent from their sin. They had to obey first.
2. But there is a set time for the treasure to be released. So be patient and keep seeking His face in this time, get closer to Him.God will reveal to you. ( God spoke to Moses about building the tabernacle at a particular time, and that was the time the treasure and skills placed in them was known)

3. You don’t have to worry how its going to be done, because He has placed the treasure inside of you to do it. ( exodus 31:3) Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: see I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. And I HAVE FILLED HIM WITH THE SPIRIT OF GOD, in wisdom, understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.
God didnt say He will fill him now, He said He has filled Him. He has already appointed you, He has filled you. But you can’t accomplish it, until you seek His face. Until you walk with Him.
4. You have to be willing and obedient and have faith that He who began a good work in you and created you will help you accomplish it. Its not enough to know you have the treasure, you need to believe what God has said about you and also believe in yourself. Believe that you are capable because God has placed in you the treasure.
5. He will connect you to the right people, who He has put His wisdom and skill in to help you accomplish it. Moses could not build the tabernacle on His own. Neither could a single Israelite on their own. You are part of a body, God will connect you to the right parts so you can function together. The task is God has called you to do is beyond your might, because its God’s task that has to be accomplished through man. He requires us to work together as a body of Christ.

6. Its beyond your strength. Because God will fill you with the ability , wisdom, understanding and knowledge and His spirit to accomplish what He has called you to do.The description of the task is not from mere man. Its from Almighty God. Therefore its beyond man’s understanding and standards and wisdom. That’s why God will give you the wisdom for it. Because man’s mind cannot comprehend. God gave a description of the Tabernacle He wants the Israelites to build. And the description was beyond what they have ever done. But He also told them He has filled them with the knowledge , wisdom and His spirit to accomplish His purpose.
7. The purpose of the task is for God’s glory and also to benefit you and everyone around you. The reason God told Moses to tell the Israelites to build the Tabernacle, was so He could dwell amongst them. He wanted to be in their midst. He didn’t want only Moses to have access. He loves all His children. He wanted all the Israelites to know He was right in their midst, so they didn’t have to look anywhere else for help.

Glory be to God

You are God’s choice…… And that’s what matters

It’s not who man has chosen, But who God has chosen

Man will qualify you based on what you have and how you look.

But God is saying “don’t put too much emphasis on what you have and what you see, am looking at what I’ve put inside of you”.

You are not disqualified because of the way you look, or what people think about you. Or what family you came from. Or what your past has said about you, or what people have said about you. Or how you see yourself.

God created you and knows what’s in your heart. He knows what you have. He knows what He’s put inside of you to do what you need to do.
Don’t let where you are and what you have, disqualify you. Don’t let your age disqualify you. Don’t let your stature disqualify you. Because God is not looking at you how you are seeing yourself or how others are seeing you.

Your body is a vessel for God’s mighty spirit to dwell in. It’s what He has put within you which you cannot see that’s qualified you.

1 Samuel 16:7
But the Lord said to Samuel ” Do not look at His appearance or at His physical stature because I have refused Him. For the LORD does not see as man sees ; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the Heart.

Only Jesus can fill the void

The Lord assured the Israelites not to be afraid. That even though they had sinned against Him , as long as they changed their ways and obey Him He will not forsake them.
1 samuel 12:20-21 Then Samuel said to the people, Do not fear. You have done all this wickedness; yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart.
And do not turn aside; for then you would go after empty things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing. For the Lord will not forsake His people , for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you His people.
25: But if you still do wickedly, you shall be swept away both you and your king.
Psalm 145:8
The Lord is merciful and compassionate , slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.

God is merciful. God is love. He doesn’t judge you according to your sins, when you repent and turn to Him. When you were on the road to destruction and everything you did proved that you don’t deserve another chance He gives you another chance.
He exchanges your brokenness, your pain, your emptiness and fills and restores you with His love.

God loves you and does not want you to be lost in the crowd. He knows the outcome of the decisions you take.

Choices of disobedient lead to an empty soul. Your flesh is filled up but your soul is broken. Because God created you for Him and nothing in this world will fill you up. There is no peace in the things that will pass away, peace is only found in Jesus.

John 14:6
Jesus answered “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.

Its only in Jesus that you are restored, its only in Jesus that you are complete. The more decisions and actions you partake in outside His will the more empty you become.

John 6:35
Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

Walk in God’s will. Seek after Him and desire for Him, only He can fill you up.

Thats why Samuel said to the Israelites
1 samuel 12:21
And do not turn aside; for then you would go after empty things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing.
I can speak from experience. I used to consistently fornicate. When I felt empty, the answer to my emptiness was ” sex”. But everytime I had sex i felt even more empty. I felt even more broken. In Front of people I looked “happy”.

I knew God’s word because I was brought up as a christian. I was brought up in a home where we prayed and read God’s word together. Even though sex filled my flesh, I constantly went around feeling empty, woke up feeling lost and ashamed.

Because I knew God’s word when i began fornicating, I felt convicted. I would constantly ask God to forgive me. Just before I fornicated I didnt feel convicted but after i did I would ask God to forgive me. But it seemed impossible to live without fornicating, because everyone around my circle saw it as the norm. Even though they knew God’s word. They said it was natural. Forgetting that, the creator of all things nature and man made created sex as a covenant between man and woman. That it involves an agreement with God over two souls uniting to be one.

I was afraid of leaving a sin, which i had been used to. A sin that fed my flesh. A sin that made me feel like i could connect with my then boyfriend. So overtime even though i told my self i won’t do it I saw myself going back into the same thing i said I wouldn’t do.

Everyday I prayed to God for peace. Even though i was laughing on and smiling on the outside, i was broken on the inside.

I knew God had spoken to me since I was a child, through  dreams. But I couldn’t understand the dreams and I would hardly receive them when I was fornicating. I wanted to understand my dreams and have a relationship with God.

Everything started falling apart. Not just my peace within but my peace on the outside. I would run to pharmacy after pharmacy afraid of pregnancy. Even to focus at university was a problem.

Wait when you are walking in obedience with God you won’t be afraid of an outcome. Because you trust Him. You will trust the man that God brings into your life, that He won’t sleep around and infect you with any disease.

But God…. He is merciful, when you turn from your wicked ways. He is speaking to your heart through your family your heart, but sin has become a norm. That even when you dress up in it you don’t see its filth. You don’t see its destruction to your soul.

Nothing in this world will satisfy. No job, no amount of money, no boyfriend.

I continued to seek God’s face and my everytime i did i felt peace. When I cried out to Him for provision He provided. I started to think, what If I gave up fornication and made time for Him. God began to use me and reveal himself to me through dreams and the bible. I wanted to draw closer to Him and I knew deep within me I needed to let go of my past. I needed to separate from my sinful ways.

As I woke up one morning I started thinking of how faithful God has been to me and I couldn’t continue to live in disobedience. So I announced to my ex boyfriend that we could continue to stay in the relationship as long as we both remained celibate.

Before I even spoke to Him i kept praying to God that He would understand. That God will soften His heart. I was afraid of loosing someone I had been used to. But my relationship with God came first. I thought to myself, my boyfriend could not give me the peace I was receiving from God. I couldnt continue to feel guilty. And I was already excited about how God was speaking to me in dreams and His word.

So one rainy an cold day in autumn. I almost felt like my world was about to end. I broke the news to my ex boyfriend. He didn’t understand why. Perhaps He even thought i found someone else.

To cut the story short. I ended up single 😂. Now i had to go through the process of heart break the first time in my life in the middle of my final year of university. But Jesus showed Himself strong. Every time i worshiped i became stronger. The holy spirit led me through God’s word and even people to encourage me. Everywhere i turned i could feel the arm of a loving father holding me together. My relationship with God began to blossom. I cant remember a day missed without hearing Him through a dream or through His word. The holy spirit is a true comforter. I experienced Jesus like i never did before. God revealed to me dreams about the outcome of university, warnings for my family and i was just blown away. I couldn’t believe I was missing such an intimate relationship with Jesus because I chose to please my flesh.
God favored me through out my exams, my registration to become a qualified radiographer and even in my job.

Your relationship with God is more valuable than any other relationship.

Psalm 68:5

The Lord placed this verse on my heart and led me to write this back in february. Our Heavenly father loves us.
Psalm 68:5
A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation.

God our father is
A father that provides for you
A father that protects for you
A father that is the head of the house
A father that loves you
A father disciplines you
God is a father to those without fathers and those with fathers.Less of their father. Those who don’t have the main figure. This means those without fathers still have a father, they wont be in need, they wont be led astray, they wont be afraid, they wont feel unloved, they wont be mislead.
Theres so much your earthly father can do, He cant be everywhere and know everything. But our heavenly father is omnipresent and omniscient. Whether your earthly father has been around or not, you haven’t missed anything in life. Because recognizing and knowing your heavenly father means everything beyond your earthly father is provided. Getting to know your heavenly father you will be counseled, you will become the great man or woman you are called to be. You haven’t missed out because you never spent time with your earthly father or seen him. Your heavenly father knew you before you were born. Your earthly father hadn’t even seen you before you were brought into existence by your heavenly father. Your heavenly father chose your earthly father. Your earthly father waited on you( a special gift) your heavenly father delivered.your heavenly father wants you to know Him as well as He knows you. This means spending time with him. Your heavenly father delivered you for a purpose and one day you will go back to him.He wants you to know Him when you see Him again. When you were delivered you didn’t know Him but when you return back to Him He wants you to know Him. If you know Him here you will definitely know Him when you see Him one day.
No matter what you may face. Our heavenly father will be there, through the trials the ups and the downs, He will stand by us. Knowing Him means we have authority, we are protected, He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Anointed for your call

In the book of 1samuel 10, the Israelites asked God to give them a king over them. God is the only king and there is no king before Him or after Him. But the people insisted on the king to lead them in battle.

God agreed and chose a king for them. God spoke through the prophet Samuel and selected a king for them.

But before Saul was chosen as king , He couldn’t become king with His old heart.
He couldn’t lead God’s people with his own heart. He was anointed and chosen by God.

1 samuel 10: 6
At that time the spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them. You will be changed into a different person.

Its God that will change you into a new person and your old ways and the old people will be unfamiliar with it. Your past cannot carry this blessing. Your old thoughts cannot carry this new blessing. The spirit of God will change your mindset, your heart. The way you think, feel and see things. Because if you are your old self you will question every move, you will seek man’s opinion than Gods.
You need God’s spirit to do God’s work.

Zechariah 4:6
Then he said to me, “This is what the LORD says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.
1 samuel 10: As Saul turned and started to leave, God gave Him a new heart, and all Samuel’s signs were fulfilled that day.
If God has spoken concerning your call, your purpose , be assured that It will surely come to pass. And He has given you what it takes to accomplish His plans. And thats why He has released the prophecy over you.
You didn’t choose yourself, He chose you. As long as you continue to walk in His will , your time will surely come.

Be assured that the prophecy spoken over your calling, your purpose will come to pass.

When Samuel prophesied to Saul, some of the prophecy was about instructions which Saul had to obey , in order for the word God has spoken over His life to come to pass.

1 samuel 10:7
And let it be that when these signs come to you, that you do as the occasion demands ; for God is with you.
Not everyone will be happy with the prophecy concerning your life. Not everyone will agree with the prophecy coming to pass. And not everyone will qualify you. But that’s ok because God is the author and finisher of your faith. The beginning and the end and He has qualified you.

Some people were not happy with Saul becoming King

Not everyone will recognise you and believe you have changed. Those who have seen your old ways will be unfamiliar with your change. People will question whether its really you.
You will be surrounded with those with the same vision. God will connect you with those who have also been transformed and walking with Him.

1 samuel 10:26
26 When Saul returned to his home at Gibeah, a group of men whose hearts God had touched went with him.

Glory be to God.
