Give the little that you have and God will give you abundance.
Sometimes we wonder why God wants the little that we have. The little that we have, but He wants us to give it to Him. Nomatter how little, if we give it to Him, He will multiply it for us. He wants the little that we have, the last that we have, to know if we will trust Him. Trust Him with the small talent. Trust Him with what you have that you think looks insignificant.

“Like the stick in Moses’s hands. Like the two fishes and five loaves Jesus had. Like the handful of flour and the Little jar of oil from the widow in Elijah’s time.”

God wants the very little that we have. The last that we have. Will we be faithful to give it to Him? Will we be faithful to say Here Lord, this is all i have , but take it. I trust that you will blow my mind with the very little. I trust that you will make a way out of no way. I know this is my last but i give it to you, because I trust you. You are faithful.

Luke 16:10 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.

This may not refer to money, it may be anything little we have that we feel cannot make a difference, but God wants to use what we have. Its the little we have that God will increase to blow our minds. Can we be trusted to handle the little that He has given us?

In 1 kings 17: 8 God told Elijah to go to Zerapeth and has commanded a widow there to provide for Elijah.

But when Elijah got there and met the widow and asked the widow for food she replied;
1 kings 17:12
“As the LORD your God lives, i do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin , and a little oil in a jar ;and see I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for my self and my son, that we may eat it and die.

Now that was the widows last. The very little that she had. She either had to hold on to the little that she had,or give the little that she had for God to bless her in abundance. She could have held on to the little that she had and not trusted God with it. But she trusted God with her very little. Not knowing whether what Elijah spoke will happen, but she still took the bold step. She gave away the very little . She had FAITH.

This was Elijah’s reply to her;
1 kings 17:13
Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. 14 For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’”

Hebrews 11:1
faith is substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

God wants us to use the little that we have now. The little that we feel is insignificant. He wants us to step out with it. The idea that everyone looks down on. The idea that we feel is insignificant. He wants us to use it for His glory. Whether we feel we don’t have enough , or we don’t have it all together, He wants to use us. When we pray and give Him those ideas , gifts, He will multiply it.

look what happened when the widow had faith and gave the very little she had; God did as He promised.

1 Kings 17-15,26
15 So she did as Elijah said, and she and Elijah and her family continued to eat for many days.16 There was always enough flour and olive oil left in the containers, just as the Lord had promised through Elijah.

What is the very little that we have but feel is insignificant? That idea? The gift that nobody notices? God wants to use it.

Glory be to God🙌🏾

Do things God’s way and He will get the glory

The glory has to belong to God not man. And when the glory belongs to God man will not get you there, God himself will.He may use man, but the glory does not belong to man. The glory belongs to God.

When things are done man’s way it doesnt last, there’s a price, there is a formula. But when things are done God’s way there is no formula. Words cannot explain how He did it. Because His ways are far above our ways ( Isaiah 55:8) and the thoughts of God is no where near what our minds can comprehend
When things are done God’s way, God will get the glory and His word will not return to Him void. But when we do things and make decisions according to the world God is not getting the glory. We want God to come through but we don’t want to do things His way.

We want a man who is committed and has a true heart for God but we keep eyes on the cute guy who lusts after the flesh.
We pray for God to use us but we get impatient when we sit at His feet and havn’t heard Him yet.
If we truly wants God’s way then it doesn’t matter when or where or how. We won’t be choosy because we want His way.
When you ask someone to direct you somewhere. And they tell you the direction, will you reply back saying ” actually I won’t take that route? Did you not ask them so you can be directed?

God deserves all the glory out of our situations. But are we truly given Him glory on decisions we did not involve Him? Decisions that don’t please Him?
God got the glory of David becoming King. When David was in hiding, He asked God where to go, and God directed Him and He was safe. When David was in hiding from Saul He asked God who to fight and God delivered His enemies into His hands.( 1 samuel 23:2)

When David could have killed Saul on two attempts, He did not do it.His army told Him to do it, but He did not. (1 samuel 24, 26)  They were not going to get the glory for who God Himself has ordained David to be. David obeyed God so God got the glory.

Finally when Sauls servant rejected Saul’s son Isbotheth and decided to do everything to make sure David gets the throne, He was killed. He was not going to get the glory for who God almighty Himself has ordained and anointed to be King.

Man is not going to get the glory, God is. So when you do things God’s way, just know that no-matter what you may face along the way, God Himself will get the glory. And your end will be good because God puts Himself above His word. No matter how long it takes lets be patient and obey. God has a set time for everything and because you don’t know His time doesnt mean its not going to happen. David was anointed but He didn’t step on the throne straight away. He was patient through the test, sometimes alone, sometimes surrounded by people, sometimes cried, sometimes rejoiced, sometimes He was even thinking that Saul will surely kill Him one day. But in the end God got the glory and He waited.

God first Loved you

As christians we all go through our ups and downs. We go through times of financial difficulty, loss, pain, troubles and disappointments. But when things are not working out the way you planned and want them to be,that doesn’t mean God does not love you. Whether you prayed for something and have not received your blessing yet, or have not received your miracle yet does not mean God does not love you. Whether you got that job or you did not. Whether someone close to you died or not. God still loves you. His love is unconditional. Its not based on how much money you got in your bank account or how big your house is. God loves you just the way you are. The fact that you are going through a rough time right now doesn’t mean, God has stop loving you or God doesn’t love you anymore.
Romans 8:35-37
35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”[o]) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” God thought of you before He formed you. From your eyes,to nose to teeth to feet to your smile. You are very precious to God. Money cannot buy how precious you are to God. He loves you and that should make you love yourself even more.He is pleased with every part of your being, so you should be happy with yourself and not feel condemned. You are the apple of God’s eye. So even if your mother or father don’t accept you God does. Because He formed you, not them.

Luke 12:7
Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Can you imagine, God knows the number of hairs on your head. He cares about every tiny detail of you. From how you feel about waking up to work today and how you feel about yourself. Everything that you may think is irrelevant , its relevant to God. Because He cares about every single detail of your life.
Romans 8:37-39
No despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

God doesn’t love your best friend more than you, or your sister more than you, or your pastor more than you. Know that no matter what is happened in your life and no matter what happens He still loves you. The fact that your friend is got a job or is married. Or that the issues you are facing is bigger than your sister doesn’t mean He loves them more. God loves you as much as He loves them.

God loves you soo much, that even before He created you He had a plan for you. Jesus died for you even before you were born. God’s love for you is beforehand not after.
Even when we were in sin, He still loved us. Romans 5:8
But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
God hates sin , but He loves YOU. And because He loves you, He will do anything to get you right with Him. He will do anything to get you out of sin. And so God went to extent of saying ” I Love you soo much that I will sacrifice what I love for you”. I will do anything to get a relationship with you. Even if it means death I will do it”. And that’s what Jesus came to do.

All the material blessings that this current generation see as love, will breakdown, will fade away. Then you will have to replace it. So that’s why whether you received material things or not should not confirm God’s love for you. God’s love is beyond that, God’s love does not fade away. He loves you soo much and spending time on earth is not enough for Him. He wants to see you with Him in heaven to.
Yes sin can be very deceptive. From a glance it may look pleasing but the consequences are damaging to the spirit, body and soul. But more importantly God who loves you unconditionally hates it. God created us, and knows what’s good for us and what’s bad for us. He wants the best for us, He doesn’t want you to be destroyed. He doesn’t want you to after all the hardship here on earth you suffer in hell as well. But most importantly, He LOVES YOU. He has great plans for you and wants your journey here on earth to be worth it.
With all the issues of christians been persecuted around the world. God’s word will tell us the answer. Nothing can separate me and you from God’s love. God still loves those who are being persecuted. He first loved us before bringing us on this earth. He knows earth is not our final destination, earth is not our home. If it were we will remain here forever.
Rest in God’s peace and seek Him, knowing that no matter what’s happening around you God loves you.

Sometimes we may think all the difficulties around us means God has abandoned us. But God will never leave you or forsake you. But the difficulties will draw us nearer to God not away from God.
Its through the cry to God in weakness that you will find your strength in God. Its through the cry of been heart broken that you will experience the comfort and healing of God. Its through the cry from confusion that you will experience God’s peace. Problems are not meant to shift as away from God, but to draw us nearer to God.
Problems are reminders to let us know we don’t run the world but God does. They are to lead us to seek God’s face and experience His mighty hand as He gives us the breakthrough.

It doesn’t mean we have to go through problems before we glorify God. But our history of breakthrough is a result of God solving our problems.
The problems which you went through in the past gave you a an experience that God can heal, God delivers, God protects, God provides.
In the book of exodus 2:23
The bible says;
Now it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage.
24: So God heared their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25: And God looked upon the children of Israel, and acknowledged them.

Your problems are not meant to create more problems. Your problems are not to lead you to smoke, or become stressed, or become depressed or destroy you.
Your problem should lead you to the problem solver not a problem maker.
Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” When you are lost, do you head to google maps and ask for direction or do you just keep walking aimlessly. When you are sick do you not seek to be healed.
Your problems are to lead you to God, He alone can solve all problems. The bible says the children of Israel groaned because of their bondage, and they cried out and their cry came to GOD BECAUSE OF THEIR BONDAGE.
God hears our cry. God hears your cry for healing. God hears your cry for provision and God hears your cry for direction. Your problem should lead you to worship, and seek God.your problem is not a sign that God is not near you, its a proof that you need God. Its your cry for protection from God that will cause angels to encamp around you. “1 peter 5:7
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” A problem should trigger a solution. But a solution will not come until action is taken. Our solution Our solution is Jesus alone. But we must take action: pray and seek God’s face for God to resolve the problem.
What’s so amazing is that God does not want to solve your problems so you never come back again. He is not overwhelmed by how big the problems are or how many they are. He’s not overwhelmed, HE CARES ABOUT YOU. When you know someone cares about you, you will go to them with anything. God almighty cares, just lay it all out to Him, tell Him. Its between you and Him personally.

When you haven’t received the answers yet doesn’t mean you give up. Or it doesn’t mean God is not listening. ( Psalm 94:9 Does he who fashioned the ear not hear? Does he who formed the eye not see?) God knows best and even though you may think now is the right time for your answers, He knows your future ahead and will answer in the right time and there will be no delay. God is always on time. So don’t give up, continue seeking Him, continue praising Him and be patient.
Habakuk 2:3
This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.

Isaiah 40:31
But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

But what’s your intention for crying?
Do you just want God to solve problems when you have problems. Or you want Him when you don’t have problems to. Seek Him in the good times and bad , He cares ,He wants to hear your voice everyday.

The women who’s wombs were closed were the women who later carried and birthed the children who would pass on God’s mighty promise.
From Sarah to Rebekah to Rachel , all their wombs were closed before they were able to conceive, great men of God.
The fact that the door to God’s plans and purpose seems unopened yet doesn’t mean you should give up. The enemy will try and frustrate you through a situation that doesn’t seem to turned around , so you can give up. He will even use people to tell you its not going to work so give up. But the reason it looks so tough is because there’s something great coming out of it. So don’t give up now, hold on. Put your focus on God, pray and seek His face. Take your mind of the problem and put your mind on God. There’s something great coming out of it that’s why the road is so narrow.
So whatever it is that you are facing HOLD ON. He can do exceedingly abundantly more than you can ask or think. Ephesians 3:20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or imagine.

When you focus so much on how things look now, you loose sight of what’s coming ahead. Expect a great future, even if things don’t seem bright now. Expect a good job even if you havn’t recieved the letter saying yes. Expect that God will bring the right person into your life.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I am conscious of my thoughts about you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope at the end.

God himself has confirmed that He will give you hope in the end. That no matter what is happening the end will be good. So why expect any other end? That no matter when its going to happen or how its going to happen you will smile at the end. Its not the fastest runner at the beginning of the race which matters, its who is the first to cross the finish line. And God is saying “I know your finish line”. I know your future, I will cross the finish line with you, and you will finish well”. So if you just hold on you will see yourself cross the finish line and rejoice.
And when you feel like giving up, or feel down , do the opposite of how you feel. Worship and praise God for what He is about to do. This life may seem like one battle after another, but Jesus said John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” When you haven’t heard a response yet doesn’t mean give up. When you knock a door and its not opened doesn’t mean give up. When you haven’t seen a turn around yet doesn’t mean give up. A door can be opened at anytime, but God chooses the right season to open that door.
Sometimes before something great is about to be birthed, there seems to be pain and discomfort and problems from nowhere. But that’s to distract you of the road you walking with God. That’s to distract you of the great thing that’s about to be birthed. The joy of what you will reap will be so much greater than the pain you’ve been through, if you will just hold on.
Take one day at a time and be assured that everything will work out for your good.

God will give you an Expected end

In Genesis 45
Joseph makes it known to His brothers who He was, and does not blame them for selling him or trying to kill him.
After all that happened to him, everything started to make sense.
He understood the reason he had to to be a slave, a servant and a prisoner. And this was the reasont “God sent him before His family to preserve life”
Joseph did not know from the beginning the reason why he was sold as a slave. He did not understand why he had to be away from his family. He did not understand why oneday he was in his fathers house and the next day a servant in an unknown land.
At the beginning it seemed very obvious that his brothers were the reason to blame for all he went through.
But at the end everything made sense and this is the reason why he went through all he went through
Genesis 45:7
And God sent me before you to preserve a prosperity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance

Sometimes certain situations you may find yourself in just don’t make sense at the beginning. You may be thinking but “I did not do anything to go through this struggle”. I prayed, I worshipped, I cried out but things just don’t add up.
But everything will make sense in the end. Every trial and every struggle will make sense in the end. You may not understand why you are going through that situation, but trust that God knows and has a much better plan ahead. That what you are going through will not be a waste of time. That God has a plan for your life. Don’t let people’s opinion make you give up. Your future is not based on people’s opinion over your life. Your future is based on almighty God’s opinion who is omniscient. Yes people will tell you someone went through exactly what you went through and didn’t make it, so you should give up. But don’t give up, God still has a plan. Nothing is impossible for God. Keep your eyes on God not on people.
Just like Joseph, you may not understand why life has been like that for you, you may not understand why it seems to be working all out for people around you but you, you may not understand why there hasn’t been answers to questions.
But it will all make sense in the end.

God has it all planned out. But you have to trust Him. Trust that because He knows the end from the beginning He’s got you.
Even though His brothers were envious of Joseph because of how his dreams looked. It wasn’t all about Joseph in the end, it wasn’t to make Joseph greater than all the people on the earth.God’s plan was to use Joseph to save the lifes of people. To preserve the prosperity on the earth. It all made sense to Joseph that there was nobody to blame. Not his brothers, not the things he went through, not God.
That everything He went through was for a reason. If you just hold on when life gets tough. If you just hold on to God, commit your ways to him. Without trying to figure everything out yourself but laying everything out at His feet , He will figure everything out for you. Hold on knowing that no matter what God’s got a plan. You will live to see the reason why you went through what you went through.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Waiting on the Dream and been patient in tough times

Waiting on the dream and been patient in tough times

The dreams God revealed to joseph happened exactly as he dreamt. This is the dream Joseph had and told his brothers before they sold him into slavery.
Genesis 37:9 Then He dreamed still another dream and told it to His brothers, and said, “Look I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.
And this is the dream coming to pass.
Genesis 42:6
Now Joseph was governor over the land; and it was he who sold to all the people of the land. And Joseph’s brothers came and bowed before Him with their faces to the earth.
The dream did not come from Joseph., the dream came from God. Who is the author and creator of the universe, so why would it not come to pass?
The only way the dream will not happen is if we don’t accept and believe the dream. If God has revealed a dream to you , nobody can stop that dream, the only person that can stop the dream is you.
If we continue to walk with God and in obedience with Him.
Joseph was able to stand the trials and temptations and test before seeing His dream come true.
1. He did not give in to portiphars wife, He feared God.
2. He was able to stand during the tough times in prison. He was able to make the best out of His circumstance in prison. He served in prison. Are we still spending time with God in the tough times? Are we still reading His word? Are we still living in obedience in tough times? Do we stilll believe we have hope in tough times with God? Do we still treat people right?
3 . Joseph was patient in prison. Are we patient with God to open a door himself and not open our own doors? When the kings butler had a dream and Joseph interpreted the dream,Joseph told him to remember him and mention him to pharaoh so He can get him out of prison.

But the butler forgot Joseph. Now look at this… In God’s own time and with God’s mighty hand Joseph came out of prison, and he wasn’t just released. He was released to be king.
Now if Joseph had fought his own way out and the butler had told the king earlier about Joseph when Joseph told him to, He would have been released as the same ordinary man.

Sometimes there is a reason why your breakthrough can take so long. There is a reason why your dreams haven’t come to pass yet. There is a reason your prayers haven’t been answered yet. Be patient. Wait on God. Because God himself will cause mountains to move on your behalf. God doesn’t want you to come out of your breakthrough the same as you are now. He wants you to come out a king, a queen , a publisher, a singer, a mighty man and mighty woman. When we are patient for God to move in His time, our blessing will be bigger. But when we are inpatient and figure things on our own, nothing great comes out of it. So not seeing your dreams coming to pass now and your breakthrough now doesn’t mean God has neglected you or its not going to happen. Something great has to come out of all the crying and the praying and the worshiping and the patience you’ve had. Something great will come out of the obedience and commitment to God. Your time has not been wasted.
He hath made everything beautiful in His time. ( Ecclesiastes 3:11)

God wants to release you greater than what you were prior to your difficulties, so be patient.
Isaiah 40:31 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

God doesn’t just want your circumstance to change, He wants you to be the change. He is building a warrior out of you through the tough times, He is building a king,a soldier through the tough times.
God built Joseph as a governor during the tough times in prison. He learnt to become the future governor in the tough times in prison. Lets continue to commit ourselves and seek God through every tough season so He can build as to be His warriors.

There’s a Great Treasure in You

Even the magicians of egypt and all the wise men could not interpret the dream for pharoah. Only God can. And God put the treasure in Joseph to accomplish that. Nobody has the treasure God has put inside of you and can use it like you. Only you can use the treasure to change the world. So you don’t need to compare yourself to anyone. Seek God and let Him reveal what He has put inside of you.
God has appointed just you for a particular calling. For a particular purpose. Nobody can be you , you are unique and designed specially to suit this purpose. They can go to wise men and scientist and all sorts but no one can do it like you can. But how is anyone going to know if you dont step out?
If you say am shy? Or i havn’t got the resources, or i will wait till next year. Someone somewhere is waiting to hear the words God has put in your mouth to step back from suicide. Someone is waiting to hear your testimony to stop the abortion. Someone is waiting to hear your song so they know all hope is not lost. Someone is waiting to read your book so they can step out of the sick bed. As a result of Joseph stepping out and using the treasure God has placed in him , He saved a whole nation from famine. If Joseph did not use what God had placed in him, a whole nation would have been severely devastated.

In Joseph’s story its very clear that the treasure God has put in you is not just about you. Its about saving a lost nation, its about glorifying God. The treasure is not from you so give glory to who it belongs to ; GOD.
When pharoah asked Joseph to the interpret the dream . Joseph said “It is not in me; God will give pharoah an answer of peace.
Joseph made it very clear that he could not interpret pharoah’s dream without God.
2 corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

God is the one standing behind you and will direct you to release that dream, that idea, not you. So why are you afraid? Its not going to be in your own strength.

But you don’t have to wait to be rich to use that treasure. Or own the biggest house. Your age , level of education, whether you have children or not, should not stop you. Just step out. Joseph was not a king before he interpreted pharaoh’s dream, he was coming from prison. He was a prisoner. God will do the rest if you step out. God’s treasure is not measured by your circumstance. It is measured by the ability of God. And am sure you already know nothing is impossible for God.
Even the surrounding nations came to egypt for food. The treasure God put inside joseph was to deliver not just people from egypt from famine, but even outside of egypt. The treasure God has put inside you may be singing, writing, speaking, directing, drawing, sowing, designing ,dreaming, interpreting dreams, prophesying. Even if the list here does not link to you God still has something very specific for you.
Your treasure will take you to places you havn’t seen. You treasure will be a blessing to you and others. You may not see how now. But joseph didnt see how either. He just stepped out. Joseph’s dream came to pass as a result of using the treasure placed in Him. He became head over pharoah’s house and all the people were ruled according to His word. He became wealthy and successful.

The treasure God has put inside you will lead you to your purpose. May God give us the strength to step out and use His treasure and accomplish His purpose for our life’s.

This too shall pass

Your faith is tested in trials. Will you still stand, when everything around you seems to be falling apart? When you prayed and God spoke, then afterwards the troubles increased? When you just prayed Lord take control and not long after everything is not going how you wanted it to?
When you just received a word about your future and nothing is happening yet? Will you question whether God spoke? Or will you hold on to His word, and go to God with the matter?

1 peter 1:7
These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold–though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

Thats what happened straight after moses had spoken to Pharaoh and told him God said He should let the Israelites go. Before the Israelites were given straws to make brick as part of their labor. But after Moses had released God’s word to Pharoah things got worse. Pharoah ordered that the israelites go and find their own straw to make the bricks. Pharaoh ordered that they should be given even more work to do and not reduce their labor.

And the israelites told Aaron and moses that the Lord should judge them because matters had gotten worse since they spoke to Pharoah.

But where did Moses go after hearing the news? He went straight to the Lord first. He didn’t sit and wonder why things had gone worse. He didn’t ask His friends and family first and discuss it with them. He didn’t question what he had done wrong or give up.

He went straight to the Lord. And He asked God ” Exodus 5: 22: ” Lord why have you brought trouble on this people? Why isit you have sent me? 23 For since I came to Pharoah to speak in Your name, he has done evil to his people ; neither have you delivered your people at all.

Exodus 6:1 Then the Lord said to Moses, Now you shall see what I will do to pharoah. For with a strong hand he will let them go, and with a strong hand he will drive them out of Egypt.

When you have commited your life to God. When God has given you a word over your circumstance and over your life. And the next minute everything starts going the opposite dirrection. Go on your knees in prayer. Go back to God with any issues that emerge. Don’t sit down and cry. Don’t sit down and worry. Don’t beat your self up and try to figure out for yourself what you have done wrong when you know You have given your life to God. Seek God first and wait on Him. Be patient to hear His voice. But most importantly stand on the word He gave you whiles you wait for His answer. Don’t loose hope. Take your eyes of the circumstance and put your focus on God. Worship through the problems. Don’t let it hold you back from smiling, from laughing.Don’t let it steal your joy.

Seek God for guidance and thank Him even when you haven’t seen the answer yet. Have faith in God. Don’t let the circumstance crumble you. Seek God and when you go through the fire. Like clay you may go through the fire soft, but you will come out of it stronger. You will come out shaped and refined as a result of holding on to God’s promises. You will come out knowing why you went through that, that the fire wasn’t meant to burn you or destroy you but to shape you for a purpose. To shape you for something greater.

Through the circumstance you will come to have a personal story, a personal journey between you and God. You will come to experience God’s mighty hand on a personal level.

Only when you hold on to the promise, to the dream, to the vision , no matter how hard it gets. And continue to seek God no matter how hard it gets. The trouble will pass and you will remain standing. So don’t let hard times make you unstable, keep standing, because a time will come where the strong wind will pass and if you held in to God and seek His face you will remain standing.

I remember a time in my life when God showed me a dream and gave me a word about my outcome at university. The dream was good and just before that time was when I started getting serious with my relationship with God. But right after that decision i received bad news from different angles. I was thinking why would things get worse after i have made the decision to be serious about God and my relationship with Him. But that kept me on my knees and more importantly I had my own personal experience with God when i saw Him turn everything around for my good. Not only did I experience God’s greatness and favor but i came to understand that God never fails when you depend on Him. I completed university and Continued to rely on Him into my career. And through that experience I learnt to rely on Him and seek Him even in the bad times.

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Everything including the good and bad will work out for your good. So don’t loose focus on rainy days.

God loves you.

God won’t let you go alone.

When God told Moses to go and speak to the israelites,He directed moses on what to do and what to say and assured him that He will be with Him. ( Exodus 3 and 4)
But God is so awesome. God will not send you somewhere or tell you to say or do something and not be with you.

God made it clear through out Genesis from Abraham to Joseph, that He will be with them. Every time He told them to go anywhere. God won’t let you go alone. So don’t be afraid. You won’t be confused on what to say, God will speak through you. Its not you that’s going to change hearts, He will do it. Its not you that’s going to find the place, God has prepared the way ahead. So seek Him every step of the way and rely on Him.

Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.

All He requires is you move and He will do The rest. And no matter what you face when you move, seek God’s counsel. We serve an awesome God. Jesus knows the your beginning and the end.He knows everything that’s going to happen after you move, so Trust Him. He has a plan for you , so trust Him.

God gave instructions to Moses, telling him speak to Pharoah to release the Israelites out of Egypt, And this was Moses’ reply:
Exodus 3:11 But Moses said to God “Who am I that I should go to Pharoah, and that i should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”

Because He knew that in His own strength its not going to be possible. He knew that He was just a mere man, who had never led people or done miracles, let alone take His people from the hands of the Egyptians to the promise Land.

There was no way He could go if He had to depend on his own strength. In His own strength trying to save an israelite He caused trouble. He even had to leave Egypt as a result of Doing things on His own strength.
But when God stepped in, things were different. When God stepped in the impossible became possible.

So don’t depend on your own strength. Don’t figure things out all by yourself, ask God for strength to stand. Ask God for wisdom and understanding. Don’t depend on yourself.

Zechariah 4:6
Then he said to me, “This is what the LORD says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.

When Moses asked God who is He that can bring the children of Israel out of Egypt. God did not only tell Moses He will be with Him, but gave Him a sign ; that He will serve God at the mountain He first spoke to Him.

If God has told you to do something, Be assured that He will be with you through out. It may not be easy stepping out and doing it, and the road may not be smooth, but you have to hold on to God’s word strongly. You have to remind yourself that no-matter what He will carry you through. You have to understand that God is faithful. And His word shall not return to Him void. There’s always a blessing, there will be a testimony if you hold on long enough. Remind yourself of God’s promise, His reward is bigger than anything you could give up and settle for.

You may feel unqualified for what God has said regarding you. But that’s not up to your feelings. Feelings go up and down, feelings are not stable, but the word of God is.You are not the one qualifying yourself or people are not the ones qualifying you. God the creator of the universe qualifies you. Therefore don’t be worried about what man is saying about you. Know that you are not the one qualifying your self, God qualifies you. So theres no need to be afraid or worried.

You have to know who stands by you.
Moses asked God how he should refer to God as when the israelites asked , and God replied;
Exodus 3: 14 And God said to Moses I AM WHO I AM” And He said, thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.”’

God wants us to know Him for ourselves. God is stronger and mightier than anyone and anything. God revealed His power to Moses through His miracles and His mighty name. Moses had experienced what the mighty hand of God can do and He held onto The word God had given Him before God sent Him. Moses knew that God gave him the word and understood that God is all powerful.

Our experiences with God should be a reminder of the fact that God is faithful to His word. Even though the circumstance may have changed. God doesn’t change, His word does not return to Him void.

Its important to remind yourself of the word God has given you regarding your situation or regarding His instruction. And more importantly declare the word and stand strong on it when everything around you looks the opposite. Also knowing who God is through His word makes you understand the power of God and that He can do anything.
Sometimes you may not have all the clues to what you will face on the journey to doing as God has told you to. But let the word and the promises God has given you keep you determined to hold on and wait. Be consistent in seeking His face and depend on Him to reveal the next step.

Moses was also worried that the israelites would not believe or listen to anything He was saying.

Don’t let what people say cause you to disbelieve what God has told you. Take your focus of what people and the surrounding are saying and tune your ears to hear God’s voice above any other voice.
One thing I noticed about Moses is that He was persistent in communicating with God about what He did not know and also His weakness. He asked God what He did not know for knowledge purposes and also told God His weakness. He told God He was slow in speech. And God replied “I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say”.

Its important to tell God the areas we are struggling with. He knows it all already, But He wants you to rely on Him. His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Its the areas we are not strong at , that’s where God’s mighty power will cover and remove every weakness. So whatever you think is stopping you from going where God wants you to go,speak to Him about it. If its patience ask Him to give you strength to hold on, if you are confused ask Him to reveal to you. And be patient in hearing Him.

Lastly moses told God He was slow in speech. Someone may think Moses was trying to give as much excuses as possible. But Moses was making things clear to God about His weakness. The things that disqualify Him. But when God has qualified you don’t allow anyone including yourself to disqualify you.

Exodus 4:11-12
11 So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord? 12 Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.”
