One evening, Just as I was getting ready to go bed, God placed a message on my heart. And the Holy Spirit reminded me of a parable in His word to confirm the message. Whatever message God puts on your heart to share release it. Set someone free, don’t delay, its not about you.

Holy spirit whispered: our time on earth should be a preparation to enter heaven. He gave me this scripture;on the parable of the ten brides; Matthew 25:1-14. God is so amazing I haven’t read or seen that scripture in ages, but He reminded me of the story straightaway.
(Matthew 25:1-14

25 “Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten bridesmaids[a] who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. 3 The five who were foolish didn’t take enough olive oil for their lamps, 4 but the other five were wise enough to take along extra oil. 5 When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

6 “At midnight they were roused by the shout, ‘Look, the bridegroom is coming! Come out and meet him!’ 7 “All the bridesmaids got up and prepared their lamps. 8 Then the five foolish ones asked the others, ‘Please give us some of your oil because our lamps are going out.’ 9 “But the others replied, ‘We don’t have enough for all of us. Go to a shop and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 “But while they were gone to buy oil, the bridegroom came. Then those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was locked. 11 Later, when the other five bridesmaids returned, they stood outside, calling, ‘Lord! Lord! Open the door for us!’ 12 “But he called back, ‘Believe me, I don’t know you!’ 13 “So you, too, must keep watch! For you do not know the day or hour of my return.)

I hear and have spoken to people who are christians and attend church. But they say they are not ready to lay down somethings in their life yet. They are not ready to stop some old way of living yet. They say its not the right time yet and they will stop living a certain way a year from now, a month from now , very soon. But what you are not realising is; it becomes harder and harder to get out of that sin, and after a while that sin becomes a norm to you. You don’t get convicted anymore. It becomes a habit.
You may think you are enjoying life in that sin. And that perhaps may be you should have one last bite of it. Before you know the last bite turns into the beginning of many bites.

Many bites of something thats poisoning you. It tasted sweet but its effects are devastating to your soul. It tasted sweet but its leading you to a bitter ending. It tasted sweet but its robbing you off your relationship with God and the purpose He’s created you.
God who created you knows whats best for your soul. He knows what will destroy you and what will grow you. You believe He created you , but don’t you see He wants the best for you? Man didn’t say its wrong, the lover of your soul did. The one who breathed life into you and has the power to take it away. So why do you listen to everyone else except him? Why neglect the one who wakes you up every morning to see another day? Why listen to anyone else except the one who gives you chance after chance after chance. Why listen to everyone else except the one who never gives up on you?

And you walk around living a lie. Our time on earth should be a preparation to enter Heaven. When you are going to a particular place or event, do not plan the route? Do you not get prepared to get to your destination? Do you not get ready, find out the best way to get to your destination? Avoiding as much traffic as possible and ensuring that you have the correct ticket for the journey? You do not start a journey which you know will be completed, and not get ready for your final destination. Our journey on earth has an ending, and when we get of our aim is to meet our heavenly father in heaven. The amazing thing is Jesus does not only want to meet us in heaven but wants to guide us through our journey on earth. He doesn’t want us to go round in circles and miss out on heaven. Jesus is the only way the truth and the Life and no one can get to the father except through Him. But believing in Him is not enough we must accept His ways and obey His word. How can we believe in something and not practice it?
Matthew 25:13
you, too, must keep watch! For you do not know the day or hour of my return.

Nothing is Hidden from the Lord

29 Tuesday Dec 2015

Nothing is hidden from the Lord.

Sometimes in life, things happen without you even knowing they were coming. Sometimes you may receive a prophetic word ,warning dreams and visions or a word on an event about to take place. And there are times where you have no idea that it what was coming.
But nothing is hidden from the Lord.
Hebrews 4:13
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.

You may not have known, but God knows. And Trust that He knows why its happened and He will make everything work out for your good. Trust that even when you feel like you’ve lost something unexpectedly that He will restore everything that was lost. Trust that He will not withhold anything good from you.
Psalm 84:11
For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.

Sometimes you may have been in the word, praying and spending time with Him. You may be walking with Him, but you still did not know what was coming. And you are like But God ” I wish You told me this was about to happen”.

For something to be restored it has to be broken, for something to be restored, it has to be lost, for something to be restored it has to deserted.
Thats what happened to David, God warned Him through people and ordered His steps in and out of battle. He would enquire of the Lord and the Lord will tell Him what to do.
But when He returned home from being rejected to fight for the philistines, the Amalekites had burned His land with fire. And sadly also they had even taken captive all the women, sons, daughters.
David did not see that one coming. He did not know He was going to return and everything that belonged to Him would be taken.
But what did David do next?
He cried out to God. And the most beautiful thing He did is the bible says “He strengthened Himself in the Lord His God.” Who do you run to first when you are distressed? Who do you strengthen yourself in or lean on when you feel like there’s no hope? Whoever and whatever you run to first is your idol.

You can seek friends and pastors and prophets. But they don’t always have the answer to what God is about to do next. They may encourage you but God wants you to experience Him for yourself. He wants a personal story between you and Him. That when all hope was lost He brought you hope. That when you were lost He delivered you. Man can pray with you and help you but only God can restore to you everything that you have lost.
In 1 samuel 29:8 says
So David enquired of the LorD saying, ” shall i pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them? “And God answered him ” pursue for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”

You would think that David would go straight and chase after what was lost. But He enquired from God. He didn’t want to take a step without getting a yes from God. Even though it belongs to Him He wanted God’s say on it.
God stands on His word.( psalm 138:2 For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.) Whatever He says, He will do. Seek Him on what to do next on the things you’ve lost. But don’t dwell on those things, dwell on Him. Stand on His word more than your miracle. He is able to do, just what He said He will do.
God may want to do something new, Wait and let Him show you. Seek Him even when you haven’t recovered what you lost yet.Don’t give up. Your world is not found in what you lost, whatever you’ve lost can be found in Jesus. Your world is found in Jesus.
God is a God of restoration. No one puts His trust in the Lord and ever gets ashamed.
When you have given your life to Jesus doesn’t mean everyday everything is sweet. It doesn’t mean you will never face problems. But it means that no matter what you face, He will give you the strength to overcome. It means you will have peace in the midst of storms. It means that you will be preserved and strengthened to go through difficulties and still come out standing.

Repenting and hearing God for ourselves

28 Monday Dec 2015

In 1 Samuel 28   , Saul went to a medium because God was not answering Him, the prophet Samuel had died and God did not answer Him. Had he obeyed God’s last instruction and stop envying David, He wouldn’t have needed a medium.
Sometimes we say God hasn’t spoken. Or God has not answered us, but what is the state of our heart? Are we still walking in sin? Have we truly repented?
God uses prophets and pastors to help us yes. But we must not depend on a man to hear what God is saying. That man doesn’t even know what will happen to them tomorrow.
God puts people in places to help us, to guide us, to mentor us, but those people will not always be there.

We’ve got to know God for ourselves. We’ve got go down on our knees in prayer and worship God. We’ve got to know His word for ourselves. We cant always be running to man’s ears to hear God.
Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and you will find me when you seek me with all your heart.

How can we seek God with an unrepentant heart? A heart of stone. A heart that does not even feel convicted when in sin. A heart that does not long to please Him?
2 chronicles 7:14
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

In the past, I would pray and pray and pray concerning various matters, but even after I prayed I couldn’t hear God. I couldn’t hear Him through dreams, I did not even understand when He was speaking to me through His word. The simple answer is i was not repenting. I would pray and go back into the same sin God convicted me. And i will sit there and say God has not answered my prayer.
Sadly enough, even after a pastor has prayed for me, i would not see or feel the difference. That’s because I was very much aware that God hated the sin which had become a norm to me. I had to repent and stop making prayer a wish list but a relationship. Its not about praying for all the amazing things but most importantly strength to walk in obedience with God. And remove every desire in me that seeks to please my flesh. #Jesus #faith #peace #Grace #God’slove

True Friendship ( Lessons From David and Jonathan)

A true friend will rejoice and celebrate your victory with you. They won’t look down on your strengths and abilities God has placed within you. When you have achieved success in any area of your life they will be happy for you. They will tell you what it is, when you have done well ” they will say well done. They won’t be jealous of you, they are happy to see you as a friend doing well around them.
Jonathan gave His armor, robe, sword, bow and belt to David after wining the battle against Goliath. He celebrated David as a warrior. Even though Jonathan Himself couldnt face Goliath , He was not jealous when David won.
True friends will not envy in the area which you succeeded but they couldn’t. They will still celebrate you. Because they understand that God has a purpose and plan for everyone

A true friend delights in you. They like you for who you are. Not because of what you have. Not when you are rich or when life is good. But when life gets tough their friendship with you doesn’t change. They don’t all of a sudden appear when life is going well and disappear when life gets tough. They don’t like you because others like you or not. Others opinion doesn’t change their opinion about you. “In 1 Samuel 19:1 the Bible says Jonathan delighted greatly in David.” He liked Him for who He was. Whether His father Saul liked David or not did not change Him.

A true friend will speak well of You. They won’t tell you all the lovely things and go and tell people bad things about you. They won’t go and tell your business to the world. They have a heart to see you do well.
In 1 samuel 19:4 the Bible says
Jonathan spoke well of David to Saul. ” He said ” Let not the king sin against his servant, against David, because He has not sinned against you, and because His works have been very good towards you.

A true friend is not selfish. They want You to have other friends to. They don’t want you for themselves. Because they care about you, even if it means you have to move away from them because of an issue they are happy for you. And will remain your friend.
Jonathan cared more about David’s safety than David’s company. Telling David the truth meant that David will have to move away from Him. But Jonathan wasn’t selfish and told David the truth so He will be safe.
During my time of writing this message. I asked myself. Am I a true friend? Do I tick all this criteria. The truth is I don’t tick all this criteria. And Ive learnt that the more I spend time in prayer and ask God to show me and mould me, the more I learn to love. And seeking God has definitely made changes in valuing friendships and treating others how i would like to be treated. The truth is Jonathan and Davids friendship was a covenant. The bible says the Soul of Jonathan was knit with David ” and Jonathan Loved Him as His own soul.

Their friendship was built by God. Only God can help us love with a pure heart and enable friendship to function like David and Jonathan’s friendship. To be honest with you as I was also writing the only friend that came in my mind is Jesus. Only He could fit all the criteria for me that was listed.
But God’s word shows us we can have and also be the earthly friends like Jonathan and David. Jesus is our ultimate friend, but God uses people in our life’s to help us through our journey on earth.

David remembered the Lord even after He had given Him rest from His enemies. When things were going well David thought of God.
David did not only call upon God when He needed to fight battles, but He remembered Him when there was no battles to fight. He remembered God at a time where God had given Him rest.

What do you do after God has blessed you with the job you prayed for. And now you don’t have to be worried about bills? What do you do after God has blessed you with the house, the car, when God has healed you and delivered you?
Do you remember God when everything is going well? Do you remain thankful and obedient after your blessings are released?

image.jpg

The bible says that
2 Samuel 7:1-2 When King David was settled in his palace and the Lord had given him rest from all the surrounding enemies, 2 the king summoned Nathan the prophet. “Look,” David said, “I am living in a beautiful cedar palace,[a] but the Ark of God is out there in a tent!”

David thought of God when God had given Him rest. We should not only be thinking about God when life gets tough. We should think of God when life is going well for us. We should still think of God after He has blessed us with what we are praying for.

David asked to build God a house for the ark of God to live in. It’s the thought that counts. What can you do to say thank you to God for the new car He has blessed you with? Have you thought of what you can do in return? You can’t thank God enough for what He has done. But thinking of Him even when life is good means you are not after God’s hands but you are after God’s heart. David was after God’s heart.
Now look at what happened next, when David thought of God when things were going on well for Him, God also thought of Him. This time David did not even ask God to bless Him, but God blessed David without Him even asking.

When we think of pleasing God, when we do His work, when we think of doing what will please Him rather than what will please us, why won’t God bless us?

God didn’t even want David to build Him a House. But Instead God released a new blessing over His house and His generation. God revealed His thoughts to David as David thought of God. The only way to know what someone is thinking about you is if you thought about them and ask after them. Then you will be able to know what they are thinking of you.
This is what God said to replied back to King David

2 Samuel 7:8-16 Now go and say to my servant David, ‘This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies has declared: I took you from tending sheep in the pasture and selected you to be the leader of my people Israel. 9 I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have destroyed all your enemies before your eyes. Now I will make your name as famous as anyone who has ever lived on the earth! 10 And I will provide a homeland for my people Israel, planting them in a secure place where they will never be disturbed. Evil nations won’t oppress them as they’ve done in the past,11 starting from the time I appointed judges to rule my people Israel. And I will give you rest from all your enemies.

“‘Furthermore, the Lord declares that he will make a house for you—a dynasty of kings! 12 For when you die and are buried with your ancestors, I will raise up one of your descendants, your own offspring, and I will make his kingdom strong. 13 He is the one who will build a house—a temple—for my name. And I will secure his royal throne forever. 14 I will be his father, and he will be my son. If he sins, I will correct and discipline him with the rod, like any father would do.15 But my favor will not be taken from him as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from your sight. 16 Your house and your kingdom will continue before me[b] for all time, and your throne will be secure forever.’”

Have you thought of what will please God today? His word tells us what pleases Him.

In 2 samuel 7,
The people of Israel didn’t have to even touch the Philistines to win the battle against them to begin with The Lord had already fought their battle.
1 samuel 7:10
Now as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the philistines drew near to battle against Israel. But the Lord thundered with a loud thunder upon the philistines that day and so confused them that they were overcome before Israel.
As they cried out to God and asked for forgiveness, and turned away from their sins, and sacrificed an offering,They handed their battles over to God.
But they had to recognize that the battle does not belong to them. The battle belongs to God the creator of strength itself.

2 chronicles 20:15
He said , “Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the LORD says: Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s

They Israelites were  afraid when the philistines were coming up against them. Because they had lost the battle before. But they only lost the battle before because they continued in sin and didn’t ask for forgiveness. They only lost because, they went to war without the presence of God. They took the ark of God to their first battle against the philistines but they didn’t submit matters in God’s hands.
God is faithful, when you submit matters in His hands and walk in obedience with Him, He will fight your battles for you. God doesn’t even need to fight because the battle field belongs to Him.
So don’t be afraid. When you leave matters in God’s hands, God’s hands will be in everything.
When you pray or call upon God and there’s no need to be afraid. The Lord will fight for you and you will hold your peace.
Just like the Israelites, you don’t have to touch anyone with a finger. Go down on your knees in prayer and thank God because with Him on your side, no weapon formed against you will prosper.

Seek God for Wisdom

Seek God for Wisdom

image
2 But Samuel asked, “How can I do that? If Saul hears about it, he will kill me.” “Take a heifer with you,” the Lord replied, “and say that you have come to make a sacrifice to the Lord. 3 Invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you which of his sons to anoint for me.” Some decisions in life need to be taken wisely. Some decisions can have serious consequences. The wrong decisions can lead you in the wrong direction. Some decisions are not to be taken abruptly and you need to seek God for wisdom.
Even if God told you to do something, you need to seek His face on how to do it. You need to seek His face on the steps to take to get there. You may not receive the answers straight away but that will test how patient you are. That will test whether you will continue to wait on God or use your own ideas.
Samuel asked God how He can anoint David whiles Saul was still on the throne. He spoke to God about How He feels. He told God what He was thinking. He didn’t hide what was running through His carnal mind from God.

James 1:5New Living Translation (NLT)If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.
God cares about how we feel. When He tells us to do something, instead of pretending we understand and run quickly and get it done, we need to ask Him to help us do what He’s asked us to do. Unless He gives us the boldness how can we do it? Unless He gives us the strength how can we make it through?
God created you and knows everything He’s placed within you to make it through. But you can’t do it until you seek Him to show you what He’s placed in you to overcome. You won’t know until you ask Him to help you see yourself the way He sees you.

We don’t know the outcome of every decision we take in life. But we are assured that when we involve God in every decision that we take, the outcome will be good. Because He is all knowing, omnipotent , wants and has the best for us. And He created the day you will receive the results of your decisions. Nothing is hidden from God.
Hebrews 4:13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.

But because we can’t see the outcome yet we sometimes become afraid. But thats’s when taking your eyes of everything and putting your eyes on the almighty father steps in. That’s when trusting God and holding unto His promises steps in.
I remember a time straight after graduating from university, I took a break and then started applying for jobs. I had already written down on paper and prayed to God about where I wanted to work. But after applying to this place I wanted to work I did not get a response.  But after that I crossed out where I wanted to work and felt led to pray for God’s will and wisdom in making decisions. So there was a job been advertised which was soo not near my house😳 and the salary was lower than the other job I wanted initially, and every time the job came up, the Holy Spirit prompted me to apply. But I kept putting it of, because the money was less than the other jobs and it was a bit further from my house.

image
So every time the job came up I put it off, whiles I worked other jobs relating to my studies but not exactly my field 😩. But one day when I saw the job advertised I felt in my spirit to apply, and unbelievably I sent my application 1 minute before the deadline. A week later they called me for interview. I thought to myself  “I will just go and learn some interview questions/ practice. But when I woke up that morning , I was tempted not to go, I was a bit afraid 😫 ,  I also almost felt like “what’s the point of this long journey and expensive ticket when I know I don’t want to go so far”. But after praying God gave me the confidence  and the Holy Spirit assured me that I will be fine.
At the interview I didn’t know a lot of answers. But the Holy Spirit took control, and I just kept blabbing away with answers I never even learnt.  God gave me  wisdom on how to go about answering some questions. I was not afraid 👀, I was so relaxed and there were a few questions I couldn’t answer, but the interview panel Also kept giving me clues. I was like 😭😭, I was so amazed at what God did. I mean I didn’t have much answers in my brain since I spent most of my time telling myself ” I will go and just learn questions”.
Glory be to God I got the job. And the salary advertised online was not the complete salary. There was extra allowances which was not mentioned on the application form when advertised online.  The salary was even more than the job I wanted which rejected my application. I learnt soo much from working there and by God’s grace. Yes the journey was not easy but It was a great place to start my first job and a good foundation to build my confidence for my career. Glory be to God 🙏🙌 There was some extra allowances which meant the salary was even more

God asked Saul to destroy all the Amalekites. He spoke through the prophet Samuel and told Him to do so.
But Saul left the best of the sheep and oxen and the king of the Amalekites and didnt kill them. ( 1 samuel 15:20-21)

The reason He didnt kill them was because ” He feared the people and obeyed their voice”. ( 1 samuel 15:24)

(1 samuel 15:24 Then Saul said to Samuel ” I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.)

Saul became more focused on pleasing people than pleasing God. The reason He disobeyed God is Because “He feared them”.
But did He forget that the people did not choose Him? That God chose Him? He needed God in every battle to win. He needed God’s direction to know how to rule His people. But for a moment He started to fear them instead of God.

He kept the best of the sheep and oxen belonging to the amalekites, so He could sacrifice them to God. But God didnt ask for a sacrifice. He asked Saul to obey.
You don’t have to seek people’s opinion on obeying the word of God. You don’t have to fear that you will loose a friend or you will loose a boyfriend. You don’t have to fear that you will loose things.

Are you more afraid of people that are not in control of their own breath than the one who gives you life? Are you more worried about people who cannot protect you from evil than God who never sleeps nor slumber for you? Are you more worried about what the people who don’t know what tomorrow brings than the one who makes a new day?

God is merciful, God is kind, But we’ve got to Obey Him.

I used to seek people’s opinion about God’s word. Even though i knew the word myself. So I listened to friends and people’s opinion on whether I should stop fornicating. I was afraid of God, but i was more afraid of loosing someone I was not married to. And this was also the advocates of friends who went to church and believed in God. Before I began fornicating I was afraid, afraid because deep within me I knew God was not happy. But as time went on I began to think ” well every one around me says its fine”. But I didn’t realise how much fornication had eaten my peace. I didn’t realise how much it began to affect my relationship with God. I would go to church and worship and give offerings. But deep down God wanted me to surrender myself more than the offerings and the lip service I did.

The issue is I cant blame my friends for the decisions I took to disobey God. Because I had a choice. And no matter how people influence you to make a decision, at the end of the day they won’t face the consequences you will.

image

So first go to God’s word about the matter. What does God say about the decision you are about to make?

1 samuel 15: 22
Behold to obey is better than sacrifice.

God doesn’t want our lip service of sacrifices when we have not given Him our soul. He doesn’t want the devil to have entrance and do what He wants with us. He doesn’t want our souls to burn in Hell. He wants us to have peace, He wants us to rest in His bosom. He loves us.

We will be judged individually, not with friends, not with family, not with partners. We will be judged individually. Not on because we feared people more than God. When our soul, spirit and our bodies are powerless after death, where we end up will be a result of the choices we made whiles we were alive here on earth

Because Saul disobeyed God and followed people’s opinion instead of what God told Him to do, the Lord rejected Him from being King over Israel.
Our destiny can be diverted just by following the opinion of people instead of what God has said. Don’t reason with the truth, when you know what God’s word says follow What He says. God knows you more than your closest friend. He has the best in store for you and He has great plans ahead for you.

The Presence of The Lord

The glory of the Lord is holiness, the glory of the Lord releases power, the glory of the Lord brings revelation, the glory of the Lord brings victory, the glory of the Lord brings peace.
When Moses left the Israelites to seek God’s counsel, Whenever He returned His face was shining. It was shining so much He had to cover it up at a point ,so He could communicate with the Israelites.

Exodus 34:35 and the people of Israel would see the radiant glow of his face. So he would put the veil over his face until he returned to speak with the LORD.

image

But God wants us to see His glory beyond how He impacted Moses. We have the Holy Spirit living in us as God’s children and God’s glory can be manifested  through us beyond how it shown through Moses. God wants His glory to be shown through us to a broken world.
2 Corinthians 3:7-11The old way, with laws etched in stone, led to death, though it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses’ face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away. 8 Shouldn’t we expect far greater glory under the new way, now that the Holy Spirit is giving life? 9 If the old way, which brings condemnation, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new way, which makes us right with God! 10 In fact, that first glory was not glorious at all compared with the overwhelming glory of the new way.11 So if the old way, which has been replaced, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new, which remains forever!

Lord I want to experience more and more of your glory. We’ve got to experience more and more of God’s glory. That we don’t just see change in our lives, that we see change in our communities, in our cities. And as the bible says we can be bold, because of Jesus, we don’t need to hide our face, we’ve got to show our face so lives can be impacted

2 Corinthians 3:11-12  Since this new way gives us such confidence, we can be very bold.13 We are not like Moses, who put a veil over his face so the people of Israel would not see the glory, even though it was destined to fade away.

Also so amazing that when the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle, that the Israelites would stop their Journey until the day God’s glory left the tabernacle.
In the presence of the Lord there is freedom, there is liberty, there is fullness of Joy.
The Israelites needed to rest in God’s presence. So much that their journey to the promise land was on hold. God’s presence is more important than the plans you have ahead and the plans He has for you. Because its resting in His presence that you will uncover the steps that will lead to your victory.

The Victory matters and it will happen, but you’ve got to spend time with the King of Kings to know how you will conquer. You’ve got to rest in His presence and wait on Him to uncover the secrets to your next level.
We’ve got to choose a time to rest in God’s presence. We’ve got to make time where everything is put on hold for our King. Because He creates a new day, and we won’t be able to enter the new day and walk in His steps without consulting Him.
The Israelites put their journey on hold. Have you put God ahead of your plans, or have you put your plans ahead of God? The journey is not as important as the one who paved the journey. There would be no Journey without Him.
We can experience more of God’s glory when we spend time with Him. When we seek His face and put everything aside and put our mind and our hearts on Him. When we say “Lord I want your presence more than all you have for me”. More than the riches and gold that will perish.

John 11:40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”

Let God heal your pain

image

Hurting people hurt people. The only way to know you are healed is when you don’t inflict your pain on others. When your wound is completely healed theres no agenda to inflict the pain.
When its healed you only go around wanting to heal people. Telling others that their pain can also go away. That its a matter of handing over your wounds to God.

You no longer think that you are a victim of pain. Rather you are a survivor. And a true survivor will tell others of their survival story. If its not spoken of nobody knows you survived. Somebody may give up because you never spoke of how you survived.
God uses broken pieces. For God broken pieces are not put in the trash. He mends them together one by one, until its made whole. God is the one who created you, therefore no matter how you feel or what you been through thats made you broken, He can mold you back to your best piece. You are God’s masterpiece.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

A master piece is the best of all the pieces of works. You are God’s God’s best piece.
Like a broken art piece ,God knows what you consist of, He knows the best in you. Because He made you. Therefore no matter what has caused you pain, He can heal your pain and restore you.

The healing may not take a day. Its a process, sometimes you may not see the results manifest immediately. But every time you hand over your wound He is healing it.
When a wound is healing, you may not see the white blood cells and antibodies at the sight of the wound involved in the process . You cant see the platelets involved in rebuilding the wound. Sometimes all you can see is the red wound. But through it all the healing is taking place internally before manifesting itself physically. The most important part is the process of healing within. When you hand your wounds over to God He is the master healer, who heals you from within.

When you keep putting your mind back on the pain. Its like touching an open wound or reopening a healed wound. The wound cannot heal properly because its been festered with. Every Time your mind goes back on the pain refer it to Jesus your wound healer.
God knows what happened, when it happened and He is the greatest healer of all your wounds.
