I have been writing songs from the age of 8 and when I took my walk with God seriously at 21, He gave me even more songs to glorify His name in my quiet time. I always wondered why I loved music so much, from when I wake up even through out the day , there’s not a moment on my own or with others ( if am not shy) without singing . Music is a powerful tool, it’s a way of meditation, because you repeat the same thing over and over and it doesn’t just stay on your mind you process it.

So when the Lord gave me this song at first, I really didn’t know when it how I was going to release it. But I had faith that He will make it happen. So Here it is “Majesty “ . My hearts desire is that the Lord is exalted In my life and through my music.

Majesty was birthed in my quite time. I didn’t have to put the melody together.. I didn’t have to find the words .Glory be to God .

You are chosen, set apart to bring glory to God’s name.
God has chosen you. You to come on this earth. You to be His vessel. You to manifest His glory. Out of the many sperms that could have germinated your mothers egg, you were chosen. You were chosen for such a time as this. You are chosen for a purpose. You are not useless or good for nothing. You are not worthless. You have worth, you have purpose. And not just that you are selected that way, but God has chosen you. He brought you here because His love had to manifest. You are a manifestation of God’s love. Theres something so great within you that He couldn’t keep you alone. He has plans that He wants to manifest through you. Just as they say , if you love someone, you will let them go. God couldn’t keep you, He had to release you for others to see His glory, for others to see the amazing works of His hands. Everything He created has purpose, but more importantly, you are the purpose behind His creation. His love is soo deep that He had to manifest you.

God created Esther for a specific time for a specific purpose. God has placed you here for a specific time, for a specific purpose. He could have brought you forth in 1880, but He brought you forth, in this time, for this generation, in this century.
Romans 8:19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.
You are a child of God, you are the daughter of a king, you are a son of the most high. You are not a mistake. Even if the very people who carried you say you are a mistake. Even if the circumstances around you doesn’t make sense. You are loved and cherished and chosen by God for such a time as this. Even if those who are supposed to cater for you abandon you, you have purpose. Purpose is not based on the creation, but its based on the mind behind the creator. And God’s thoughts towards you are loving , are good and not of evil. All manner of things may be happening around us in this world. But they do not manifest the thoughts of God for you and for this world. God’s thoughts are to bring you to an expected end.

Only God can raise an orphan like Esther, and set her high to be a princess. You are God’s princess, your heavenly father cares about every detail of your being. The fact that Esther did not have a mother didn’t stop her from leading other women. Sometimes God will use us in the areas in which we lack, the areas in which we struggle in, God will help you overcome so others can know of His love and glory.

Esther’s story tells us , it doesn’t matter how you begin, God can raise you up and use you beyond your mind could comprehend.

God wants to write your story, your story may have began in abuse, in insecurity, in brokeness, in lonliness, from being abandoned. But God wants to write your story of a fulfilled life,
Just like Esther the beginning of your story does not predict your ending. Your end will be good, your end will be a complete contrast from your beginning.

Esther’s background did not stop her from becoming a queen. Your bad experiences in life, whether you were rejected or neglected does not determine who you are. You are God’s child.

In life we have to learn to close chapters from the past that weigh us down. That make us think whether we are suitable to reach and achieve greatness. We didn’t see anywhere in the book of Esther, where she wondered if she could make it because of her lineage, or her past. To be honest Esther kept quiet about that fact that she was a jew. Thats because Its who God said ” she is that will determine where she was going, not what society thought.

When we come to Christ we are a new creation. We must not allow the lies from the past, the incidents to determine who we are. Jesus has put to death the old you.

Don’t abuse the power you have been given

Don’t abuse the power you have been given.

image

Its important that when God blesses us to excel and lifts us up that we treat others rightly.

We shouldn’t use the authority or the role we have been given to suppress others. It doesn’t matter if we have received awards or if we have a role as a leader at church , we should remember that God loves us as much as He loves those who have less in wealth or authority than us , whether it be physical or spiritual.

We shouldn’t abuse the power we have been given. The greatest leader is one who knows how to serve others. Because they do not see leadership as an opportunity to control others , but an opportunity to bring the best out of others.

They will not allow their positions to blind them and treat others as though they are inferior to them. Because they realise that it is God that brings growth. They realise that no matter their authority they are not more human than someone who doesn’t have the same authority.

Don’t use your authority to abuse others. Use your authority to bring the best out of others , so God will be glorified.

In the book of Esther 3, Haman was promoted by King Ahasuerus, and He had been given great authority in the land by the king. The bible says ” the king advanced Haman and set his seat above all the princes who were with Him.

But Haman abused the authority He had been given by planning to destroy all the Jews because Mordecai( Esther’s uncle refused to bow) . Because Mordecai would not bow He planned to kill Him and everyone else from His clan.
Haman was given authority but He wanted to use what He had to suppress others who had less authority than Him.

It is not in God’s will that anyone will be suppressed by their fellow Human being. It is not in God’s will that anyone should use their authority to abuse others. It is not in God’s will that anyone should be treated badly because of their background or position.
Whats so amazing is that the same person Haman planned to destroy , was the same person God lifted up and replaced Haman’s position with. God can always replace and remove us from any position if we treat others badly and do not humble ourselves. God removed Haman from His seat and replaced Him with the same person He was planning to oppress and destroy. We must be careful who we treat badly, in fact we must treat everyone with love. The tables can switch at anytime. If we are not willing to love and serve others when God has blessed us , God can take it all away.
Love others and treat others with Love, because their background or position does not define who they are. The same God who created you created them and Loves them as much as He loves you.

God will reward You in His time… Wait

image

In the book of Esther 2:21
Mordecai saved King Ahasuerus life, by reporting to Esther to inform the king that two of the King’s Enuchs were plotting to kill him.
But the king did not thank Mordecai for what He had done. The king did not reward Mordecai. But God saw what Mordecai had done. God saw that Mordecai had not be rewarded for been a good man. God saw and did not forget about Mordecai but it seemed like the King had forgotten. But as long as God has seen that is enough. You don’t need man to recognise you, even if they don’t recognise you, you should not worry. Because God Himself has seen you and will reward you for your good works. And when God rewards you , you will not forget. You will know that God has His eyes on you and His word does not return to Him void.

Man may not recognize you because they forgot , or sometimes it could even be intentional. But it doesn’t matter because God sees and knows.
Matthew 10:30 ; God knows how many hairs you have on your head.

But straight after Mordecai’s good works, somebody else had been rewarded; Haman. Haman was promoted and was given alot of authority.

We didnt see Mordecai been rewarded straightaway. And that makes me understand that sometimes, after you have done a good deed, or you have helped others or you have been there for others and have been selfless. Nobody recognizes you, its as if they did not see you do it at all. Its as if what you did was invisible to man. But just know that it wasnt invisible to God. And God will bless you for obeying His word and the good you are doing. Don’t be shocked if you don’t recieve the reward straightaway, don’t be aggregaited, don’t be furious. Just give thanks to God, you have not been forgotten. Because there will be a time where you will enjoy the fruits of your goodness.

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

You are not rewarded now because God has a set time for everything. You are not rewarded now, because God is planing How He can reward you greatly. You are not rewarded now because the time is not yet.
After you sit an exam, there is a period of waiting for the examiners to mark your work, and a period where they will tally your marks and release your results. The results of all your hard work, is not released on the same day in any major exams. But because you know you studied , you believe and expect to do well.
God reminded the King at the appointed time to bless Mordecai. In Esther 6:1,
The King could not sleep. What would make the king sleepless, after sleeping well many nights of not rewarding Mordecai. That day the King Recognized Mordecai. When God is ready to release your reward, it doesn’t matter what the situation is Your blessings will arrive.

The King may not have heared God say reward Mordecai now, but God orchestrated Mordecai’s blessings to be released at a time where a grave was been dug for Him.
God knew when the right time was to reward Mordecai. And God knows the set time to reward you.
And at the appointed time, Mordecai was rewarded. And Mordecai was rewarded greatly.

So be patient for God to reward you. Don’t rush to hear congratulations from man. Just Know that You have Abba Father who sees everything you do , and He will reward you in His time.

Step out

It is better to step out and fail , than to sit back and do nothing at all.

Sometimes you don’t know the outcome of some decisions you are about to take. The decision might mean, you can loose it all or you can gain. The decision might mean you take action now and have faith that God will come through or sit there in the problem.

The thing about life is problems don’t dissolve away. We must make the step of praying to God about the problem and seeking God’s face for a solution. God requires us to step outside of our comfort zone, because we can’t get comfortable in our problems. We must move before the problems move us. We cannot sit down and cover up issues, when God asks us to cast all our burdens unto Him for He cares for us.( 1 peter 5:7) We must keep praying until something happens.

In the Book of Esther chapter 4.
Queen Esther came to a place where she could have sat down and watched her people perish, or get out of her comfort zone and seek God’s hand to save the life’s of her people.
There are certain times in life where it looks like making a decision puts you at risk, certain people may walk away, and you may loose what was keeping you comfortable. But those decisions when taken with faith will not only bring you out of your comfort zone, but can bring out the potential you never saw in yourself.

Queen Esther could have sat in the palace, and thought “well my name hasn’t been mentioned as part of those Haman was going to kill, so am safe.”
Even though Esther knew she was at risk of being put to death if she visited the king, she boldly stepped out.

God’s decisions overpower the laws set by man. God’s decisions does not wait on man’s laws to be made. His ways are truly not our ways, neither are His thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.)
God had already created the whole universe and it runs as God has already spoken in the beginning. Therefore nothing can go beyond what God himself has already commanded. Jesus is the beginning and the end, the author and creator of the universe.

The way He commanded the sun and moon to appear it does. The way He commanded the sea to stop at the borders it does. The way He commanded man to increase and multiply its happening. Therefore can He not command a situation any situation in your life? Is there anything too hard for God?

But before God made a way even with laws restricting Esther to go to the king, Esther fasted. Esther knew that it was not going to happen until she surrender the situation to God. Esther had to deny what made her comfortable. She had to deny herself

There’s a saying which goes ” if you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done”.

That something you have to do, will be something you’ve not done. Because you are expecting to see a change.

God’s favour will take you where beauty can’t take you

God’s favour will take you where beauty can’t take you.

Even before Esther entered King Xerxes palace, God’s favour was upon her. Not the favour in her been beautiful, because there were also other beautiful women around her. But favour from the Lord. Favour as a result of purpose. Favour as a result of being in the right place at the right time. Favour in the terms of doing what she was meant to do well. The bible says the kings servant Hegai was very impressed with her. And this was the servant which the king had appointed to be in charge of the harem and given beauty treatments.

Notice that the bible didn’t say that Esther was the most beautiful in the whole land. Because its not her physical beauty that carried her all the way to the Kings palace. God had a purpose for Esther in the palace. And God opened doors for her as a result of her stepping out.
God’s favour opened the eyes of Hegai to see something about her that He couldn’t quite see in the other women. Esther’s beauty was important but only bring her so far. What would lead her into her purpose is God’s favor. What would lead her from the King’s court to been in the throne as the King’s wife was God’s favour and God’s divine purpose.

Esther listened and seeked advice from those that who would help equip her to get her where she needed to get to.
Esther 2:15
15Esther was the daughter of Abihail, who was Mordecai’s uncle. (Mordecai had adopted his younger cousin Esther.) When it was Esther’s turn to go to the king, she accepted the advice of Hegai, the eunuch in charge of the harem. She asked for nothing except what he suggested, and she was admired by everyone who saw her.

We cannot know or learn everything by ourselves as human beings. God places people in our lives connected to our destiny. Or people that will help us fulfill His plans for our lifes. Some of those people may be people you think talk too much, or advice too much. Some of these people may be within our family or even friends. Some of these people may come across at work or even at school. Their advice seems too good, or almost like they want to make you a goodie goodie.
Taking care of ourselves and looking beautiful as women is important. But the emphasis should be placed on beautifying our soul .This;building our relationship with God . Because beauty will fade away, but its God’s favour that will unlock the doors to walking in your destiny.

Proverbs 31:10
Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised.
Esther still had her mind on her family in when in the King’s palace. She did not ignore her family after she’d made it. This tells us of Esther’s character, that she was someone who would not forget where she came from and neglect those who had raised her and helped get here where she was now.

God’s favour on Esther’s life was not only to benefit Esther. And Esther recognized that. God’s favour has a purpose, he pours it out on you so it can flow through you to help others for His glory.

Heed the warnings God gives you

Heed the warnings God gives you.

image

We don’t have to wait for everything to get worse before we seek God’s face. Sometimes God is speaking to us very quietly through circumstances. God is speaking to us through people, God is telling us to get out of certain relationships. Get out and stop going to certain places that we keep going. God is telling us to stop connecting our selves with certain things that we are doing or stop repeating certain behaviours. And God keeps warming and warning and warning us, but we keep going that way. And we go that way and we stop and realise, and God forgives us. And after God forgives us we go back to the old ways that we used to walk in .

And Nebucchadnezer was deffinitely someone that I believe the Lord spoke through circumstances to wake Him up and direct Him into His will. But He kept walking out of God’s will by serving other idols and walking in pride. And with Nebuchadnezer , even though God gave Daniel wisdom and revelation not only to reveal His dream but also interpret it, He was amazed for a time, and glorified God , but went back to His old ways again of pride and Idolatory. And again God used Shadrach Meshach and abed-Nego to show Nebuchadnezer that He is the only true and living God,and that was still not enough for Him To change. He glorified God for a moment , but still went back in His old ways.

God can keep warning us through circumstances, and will draw us to Him through His mighty power, by allowing us to witness the amazing miracles He can do. But when we don’t listen and keep walking down the old road. The warning stops happening around us and we become the victims or slaves of our own sin. In the sense that the sins will bruise us and break us, and that sin can even become an attitude, but God doesn’t want it to get to that extent.
2 peter 3:27 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness,

Galatians 6:7Don’t be misled– you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.

In Daniel 5, Ndbuchadnezzer started to reap the products of His sin. God’s warning through dreams and miracles was not enough to change Him. So now He had experience the change before He surrendered. God gave Him time to change.

We should not allow our eyes to be fooled, when we see people living out of God’s will and things look as if they are going on well. God has a set time for everything and He gives them time to change.

Nebucchadnezer went from Living on the throne to been driven out from his throne to eating grass like an animal, a His body started to transform into the features of a bird.

Daniel 5:33
That very hour the word was fulfilled concerning Nebuchadnezzar; he was driven from men and ate grass like oxen; his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair had grown like Eagles’ feathers and his nails like birds’ claws.

But God been so merciful, when Nebuchadnezzar repented and praised God and acknowledged that God is the Most High and only God and humbled himself, God restored everything back to Him.

We don’t have to get to the level where God has stripped everything of us, before we learn to recognize Him. The little warnings God gives you now , heed them. The convictions you get when you go to that place, or involve yourself in that relationship, don’t ignore them. Wake up now. We don’t have to wait for things to get worse or broken or destroyed before we wake up.

God restored everything Nebuchadnezzer lost, but which meant He had to loose it all, and almost go crazy. And that’s good because God restored Him. But we don’t have to go through a process of even loosing it, if we heed the warnings and obey Him first. If we just listen to Him and do as He tells us. We don’t have to go through a process of loosing everything first. We need to learn to be humble and listen. We don’t have to get to that stage where God has stripped everything of us, don’t have to get to that stage of being on the sick bed, been involved in accident or gunshot, or a even to the extent of death before we wake up. We don’t have to wait for a hurricane to come, when God has already showed us a storm. We give dominion over to sin when we disobey God. Because sin will wreck us.

Dysfunction springs from Disobedience

Blessing, Christ Jesus, Christian

When man chooses to turn away from God, everything is affected.

When a people choose to turn away from God, everything around becomes dysfunctional.

Because God is the one who created the heavens and the earth. He is the one who created every living thing. He is the one who gives life. He is the one who brings peace.

Now if a people are walking away from God, God’s wrath comes over those people.
But before His wrath, He gives us a chance to change. A chance to surrender and turn from our ways.
God is so good He tells us the consequences of our sin. The wages of sin is death( Romans 6:23)  Sometimes its not a physical death, but a destruction of your soul.
But eventually we will all die oneday and when we have obeyed God and have a relationship with Him, our physical body dies but our soul will be with Him. But those who turn away from Him on this earth and don’t repent are like dead men walking.

Our obedience does not only affect us, but things around us. When we are blessed by God, whatever is around us becomes blessed also.

When you read the book of Joel 1
:10- 12

You come to understand that even the grain is ruined, new wine is dried up and oils fail, all because of a nation turning away from God.

Even the harvest in the field perished , the trees that are meant to bare fruit are even withered.

Joel 1:16 Is not the food cut of before your eyes, Joy and gladness from the house of God?

18 How the animals groan ! The herds of cattle are restless because they have no pasture ; even the flocks of sheep suffer punishment.
So when you see so much trouble going on in the world. It comes down to man turning their face from God. Not acknowledging Him and serving other idols. Walking into complete destruction and not having any reverence for Almighty God. Just thinking that there will be food , there will be water , without thanking the one who makes the plants germinate and produce fruits and the created rain.

Man has given honour to things that don’t deserve the honour. Man has given honour to Himself for the wisdom of God and God’s creation. They don’t think of the fact that their very existence is a result of Almighty God. God has given man dominion over the earth and man uses that dominion carelessly. God’s freewill which expresses His love for us and our ability to choose life we’ve turned into choosing things that will destroy us.

Glory be to God

Disobedience Has Consequences

Every act of Disobedience has consequences.
There are somethings which have been birthed as a result of our disobedience, those things have to be removed in-order for God’s will to manifest.

Every decision we take in life has an outcome.

There are certain decisions, certain acts that have been taken out of God’s will and disobedience to God’s word and even though God has forgiven us and new blessings will be released we sometimes have to face the consequences of that sin.
Its not that God has not forgiven us. Or God doesn’t have another plan. Or that its the end. Or we are never going to make it. Its just because that decision was taken out of God’s will and that sin produced bad fruits, and those fruits have to be removed in other for new fruits to grow.
We have to learn how to not only ask for forgiveness but to repent. Repent from the sin that has produced bad fruits.

image

But why do we have to face consequences when God has forgiven us? Sometimes the only way we truly learn from our mistakes is when we see the results of our disobedience.

Its sad how for a long time, knowing that God loves us, knowing that the reason He wants us to walk in obedience with Him is because He knows and wants the best for us, knowing that He sent His son Jesus to die for our sins still didn’t wake us up from that sin. Knowing that He wants a relationship with us.

Some of us had to get to a dead end.suffer from the results of disobedience. Some of us even near a death experience. Some of us even to the point of brokenness, some of us even to the point of been inflicted with disease.some of us even to the point of suicide, and drugs and alcohol consuming our precious lifes. Before we saw that Jesus still had His arms wide open. Jesus came to rescue us. To heal us, to deliver us, to remove us from the mess. Thats when we began to wake up.
Punishments are to wake us up. Are to make us fully repent. Are to help us understand that sin has consequences. Are to make us run far away from that sin. The Lord disciplines those He loves. Sometimes if we are not disciplined we will make that mistake over and over again. We will continue walking that route to darkness, but God wants to wake us up. The earth we live on does not belong to us. The life we have is not our own. We’ve got to know who is in charge and follow His commands. We cant live life any way we want. Because our life’s are precious to God. And even if it means He has to discipline us so we don’t continue to walk to a dead end, He will.

After David slept with Uriah’s wife, and killed Uriah so He won’t find out. God sent Prophet Nathan to rebuke Him.
2 Samuel 2:9-11
9 Why have you despised the word of the Lord by doing evil in His sight? You have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword, have taken his wife to be your wife, and have killed him with the sword of the sons of Ammon. 10 Now therefore, the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised Me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.’ 11 Thus says the Lord, ‘Behold, I will raise up evil against you from your own household; I will even take your wives before your eyes and give them to your companion, and he will lie with your wives in [a]broad daylight.

David confessed His guilt to the Lord, and God forgave Him. But there were consequences David had to face as a result of His disobedience. God forgave David but The sin He committed had punishments awaiting Him.
The punishments was not just that His son will die. But also what the Lord said concerning His household rebelling against Him. ( 2 samuel 13)

And in 2 samuel 13
One of The Lord’s punishment to David as a result of sleeping with Uriah’s wife and killing Uriah was that ” I will cause your own house to rebel against you.

And thats what happened in the next chapter, even after God forgave David and blessed Him with a new son Solomon.
David’s Household started to rebel against Him. His son Amnon raped his own sister Tamar. And His other son Absalom revenged Amnon for what he did by killing Him. So David’s household started rebelling against Him. They began to go wayward.

In 2 Samuel 16: 21
Another one of the Lord’s punishment to David was that ” I will give your wives to another man before your very eyes, and he will go to bed with them in public view.

And thats what happened in 2 samuel 16:12-21
David’s own son Absalom slept with His wives in public view.
2 samuel 16:12-21 So they pitched a tent for Absalom on top of the house, and Absalom went in with His father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel.
God forgives us, but from that punishment,we must learn never to go that way again. But when you know there are punishments behind acts of disobedience , you will flee from that sin. We must also learn to move on from the past and forgive ourselves and understand that God only allowed things to happen for our good. Not to destroy us, but to move us away from the things that are destroying us instead.

God loves us so much that even though its painful for Him to punish us, He must do it so we walk the right path. He must do it so our souls will come to Him and not be torchoured in Hell. Imagine a father knowing that their child is doing something that is dangerous to them and will destroy them, a good father will not only warn that child but will discipline them so they never do that thing again. And God loves us even more than anyone could ever love us. So do you think He will watch and continue to let you walk down that road?
So even though God forgave David, and he was still wining battles and getting blessed, him and his household faced the consequence of his disobedience to God.
Sometimes we can be in the midst of blessings and God has forgiven us for our sins. But God is loving and God forgives. But can still be facing consequences of some sins .
Sometimes we get caught up in what we feel. Making decisions on how we feel. Even if it pleases God or not. But when we have the holy spirit living within us, we are alerted, prompted of the decision we are about to take that has punishments.
Sin has consequences, just us there are rewards for good deeds, every bad deed has has punishments as its fruits.
God sees all sins as equal, but not all sins have the same punishments here on earth. Some punishments are greater than others.
God still loves us,

With Jesus …You are sorted

When you walk with God doesn’t mean you won’t face difficulty or be rejected.

Sometimes you may wonder, after all my prayers and worship. Why am i still facing problems ?. I have repented from my old ways, I am seeking God’s face, why am i still facing some difficulties. I thought when I gave my life to Jesus, thats it , am sorted.

Yes you are sorted, because your soul will not suffer in hell. You are sorted because you will still face difficulties and come out standing. You are sorted because you are on the right path, You are walking with the spirit of truth. You are sorted because Jesus is working within you daily to become more like Him. You are sorted because you have the guidance of the Holy spirit. You are sorted because greater is He that lives in you than He that is in the world. You are sorted because Even in the midst of storms God gives you peace.

Now how can anyone face life alone without Jesus? You face trials and you are not alone, you fight battles and you are not alone when you have Jesus. life is great with Jesus, you have Him to cast your burdens unto, for He cares for you.

You have Jesus who will not just hear you but carry the burden thats on your shoulder.
The difference is even when you go through difficulties, it won’t affect your sight. It won’t break your bones and suck the strength out of you. Because you have the God of angels armies pouring out His strength on you, to go through tough times and come out standing. Because somethings didn’t work out in the past , doesn’t mean you have no hope. You have hope with God, He will open another door. Its not over, its not the end when you have God on your side. Even if you didn’t get things exactly the way you want them. God has a better plan. Seek Him, don’t stop because things have not turned out the way you expected.

God’s plans for you are of a good future and an hope ( Jeremiah 29:11) No Matter what you are going through now, The joy of your future ahead is much much greater than the difficulty you are going through. So don’t give up, be patient and see, live and see, endure and see , for the Lord is good, and His mercies endure forever.
2 samuel 16 5-8

Some people may look at someone and think, if they have been good why are they going through this hardship. If its God that brought them up why are they falling. If it was God that put them together why are there problems in their marriage? How can bad things happen to good people?
The fact that you are good person doesn’t make you prone from difficulties or attacks. It doesn’t make you prone from people despising you.

David had to flee from the throne God has given to Him. Because His own son Absalom, planned and plotted so He could take over. And on His way with His servants and people, A man from the family of Saul accused Him of evil He did not do. He cursed David and called Him a blood thirsty man. Accused Him of stealing Saul’s throne and killing Him.

And was mocking Him and told Him ” The Lord has brought upon you all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose place you have reigned, and the Lord has delivered it into the hands of Absalom.

But everything the man said about David was not the truth. The Lord anointed and called David to the throne. And Saul was removed from the throne as a result of His disobedience to God. But the man assumed that the difficulty David was facing because He killed Saul.

Be Careful not to judge people or assume that the difficulties they are facing is because of something bad they have done. That is not always the case. Bad things can happen to good people for a period, but the story does not finish there. Good always overcomes evil. Light overcomes darkness.

When David sinned against God by sleeping with Uriah’s wife and killed Him, God said He will not remove Him from the throne, But God’s punishment was that David’s son whom she was pregnant with would die, His own household would rebel against Him and His wives would be given to another man in broad day light.i
