I have been writing songs from the age of 8 and when I took my walk with God seriously at 21, He gave me even more songs to glorify His name in my quiet time. I always wondered why I loved music so much, from when I wake up even through out the day , there’s not a moment on my own or with others ( if am not shy) without singing . Music is a powerful tool, it’s a way of meditation, because you repeat the same thing over and over and it doesn’t just stay on your mind you process it.

So when the Lord gave me this song at first, I really didn’t know when it how I was going to release it. But I had faith that He will make it happen. So Here it is “Majesty “ . My hearts desire is that the Lord is exalted In my life and through my music.

Majesty was birthed in my quite time. I didn’t have to put the melody together.. I didn’t have to find the words .Glory be to God .

Trust God with the Little you have … He will multiply

Give the little that you have and God will give you abundance.
Sometimes we wonder why God wants the little that we have. The little that we have, but He wants us to give it to Him. Nomatter how little, if we give it to Him, He will multiply it for us. He wants the little that we have, the last that we have, to know if we will trust Him. Trust Him with the small talent. Trust Him with what you have that you think looks insignificant.

“Like the stick in Moses’s hands. Like the two fishes and five loaves Jesus had. Like the handful of flour and the Little jar of oil from the widow in Elijah’s time.”

God wants the very little that we have. The last that we have. Will we be faithful to give it to Him? Will we be faithful to say Here Lord, this is all i have , but take it. I trust that you will blow my mind with the very little. I trust that you will make a way out of no way. I know this is my last but i give it to you, because I trust you. You are faithful.

Luke 16:10 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.

This may not refer to money, it may be anything little we have that we feel cannot make a difference, but God wants to use what we have. Its the little we have that God will increase to blow our minds. Can we be trusted to handle the little that He has given us?

In 1 kings 17: 8 God told Elijah to go to Zerapeth and has commanded a widow there to provide for Elijah.

But when Elijah got there and met the widow and asked the widow for food she replied;
1 kings 17:12
“As the LORD your God lives, i do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin , and a little oil in a jar ;and see I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for my self and my son, that we may eat it and die.

Now that was the widows last. The very little that she had. She either had to hold on to the little that she had,or give the little that she had for God to bless her in abundance. She could have held on to the little that she had and not trusted God with it. But she trusted God with her very little. Not knowing whether what Elijah spoke will happen, but she still took the bold step. She gave away the very little . She had FAITH.

This was Elijah’s reply to her;
1 kings 17:13
Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. 14 For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’”

Hebrews 11:1
faith is substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

God wants us to use the little that we have now. The little that we feel is insignificant. He wants us to step out with it. The idea that everyone looks down on. The idea that we feel is insignificant. He wants us to use it for His glory. Whether we feel we don’t have enough , or we don’t have it all together, He wants to use us. When we pray and give Him those ideas , gifts, He will multiply it.

look what happened when the widow had faith and gave the very little she had; God did as He promised.

1 Kings 17-15,26
15 So she did as Elijah said, and she and Elijah and her family continued to eat for many days.16 There was always enough flour and olive oil left in the containers, just as the Lord had promised through Elijah.

What is the very little that we have but feel is insignificant? That idea? The gift that nobody notices? God wants to use it.

Glory be to God🙌🏾

Trust God’s promises for your life. It will manfest in the right season.

No man can take from you what God wants to reward you with. No man can steal your destiny. As long as you walk in and do the will of God, whatever He has purposed for you will be established. You don’t have to compare yourself to anyone. You dont have to think in your heart that someone will occupy the seat or come and replace you. When God opens a door for you no man can close it, It is final. The only way the door can close is if we choose to walk in disobedience. Be focused on who blessed you , than who is envious of your blessing. Be focused on who made the way for you more than who can come and block your way. When God starts something He completes it, He doesn’t leave it halfway,
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: (Philippians 1:6 )

The only way it can be incomplete is if you give up on Him. Because He does not give up on you.We should always check our intentions before you do something. What is the reason behind why am doing this. Will this glorify God or glorify my flesh? Will this please God?

In the book of 1 kings chapter 11,

God had already told Jeroboam that He will make him King over most part of Israel. He had already confirmed to Him that He will give him 10 tribes. And give one tribe to Rehoboam son of solomon.
1 kings 11:35-37
35 But I will take the kingdom out of his son’s hand, and will give it unto thee, even ten tribes.36 And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light alway before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put my name there.37 And I will take thee, and thou shalt reign according to all that thy soul desireth, and shalt be king over Israel.

But the main reason God took the kingdom out of Rehoboam’s hands in the first place to give to Jereboam, was due to Rehoboam’s father solomon’s disobedience.

So God warned Jereboam not to take the same footsteps. But had already spoken that He will give Him most of Israel
1 kings 38-39
If you do whatever I command you and walk in obedience to me and do what is right in my eyes by obeying my decrees and commands, as David my servant did, I will be with you. I will build you a dynasty as enduring as the one I built for David and will give Israel to you. 39 I will humble David’s descendants because of this, but not forever.’”

But what turned Jereboam’s heart? Jereboam’s heart was turned as a result of fear. He feared that He would loose what God had already destined to be His. He did not trust in the fact that God will not allow anyone to take out of His hands what is rightfully His. He was afraid that Rehoboam would win back the kingdom from him . He did not trust God will keep His promise. He did not wait on God for God’s plans and promises to be established.
We have to learn to trust and wait on God’s promises. Even if we feel there are others who are after what God has already promised is ours,God has already spoken and said what He will do for you. So theres no need to be afraid or intimidated that someone else will take your place. We should have more reverence for God who blessed us with it than the person or people who want it out of our hands. God gave it to you or promised it to you in the first place, so it is God who will secure it for you. And it is only God who can take it out of your hand. But “God who promised is faithful ” and He will not allow that to happen.

As Psalm 24:1 says The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein .There is nothing He can’t do and that includes establishing the things He has promised you.

No matter how long it takes, no matter the opposition before you, no matter what it looks like He will make all things beautiful in His time, if you trust Him and hold on.

Don’t allow anyone to take your eyes of what God has promised you or where God is taking you. Your time and your season will come.
Habakkuk 2:3 This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.

Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Because God has a unique purpose for your life. Whatever God has spoken will be accomplished as long as we remain in Him . We will be fruitful if we abide in Him.
( John 15:4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.)

Everybody’s fruit will come out at different times. So don’t compare your season  to somebody else’s season. Wait on God.

YOU have been given POWER

You have been given power.
Matthew 10:1
And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of diseases.

Because we are children and disciples of Jesus, we have been given power and authority. We are no longer the victims, but rather we are the victors. We are no longer the oppressed because we have power over the oppressor. We are no longer prisoners to sin but rather we are set free. For whom the son sets free is free indeed ( John 8:36).

The power to overcome, the power to stand in the midst of difficulties has been given to you because you are His disciple.
Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

In order to know the authority we have, we must know the authority we sit under. And we sit under the authority of Jesus, the king of Kings and the Lord of Lords. The Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. The authority we have as disciples and children of God surpasses every other authority. We must stand firm in our authority. We must reach deep within our souls and understand that we have the power to resist temptation through Christ who strengthens us. We must reach deep within our hearts and know that we have the power to overcome trials and tribulations through Christ who strengthens us.
Because His Power is made perfect in our weakness ( 2 corinthians 12:9) , we must understand that even what looks difficult in our eyes is small in His eyes. So we must now see from His perspective, as we are His disciples.

Jesus has given us power over every other spirit. You didn’t give yourself the power, He did. He gave the power to the disciples after He called them. Me and you have been called out of darkness into His marvellous light, therefore we have been given the power. We have been given power over unclean spirits, To cast them out, to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of diseases.

Jesus gave the disciples power as a result of them choosing to follow Him. Since you and I have chosen to follow Jesus, we have been given power over every force or opposition we face. Therefore we must not doubt whether we can do what He has called us to do. Because Its the power of God that will enable us to do what He has called us to do. We mustn’t doubt whether we can overcome a problem because Its His power that will lead us to victory. If it was our very own strength then we can question. But we can do all things through who? Through christ who strengthens us. Our eyes must be fixed on Him, our hearts and our hope should be in Him. Not on ourselves or what we don’t have.

He has given you power to overcome. The storm may be brutal but you will make it through to the other side, because of the power He has placed in you. The power in you is much much greater than the look of that storm. Because you are in partnership with Christ, you have hope and you have power. Amen

Colossians 1:27
For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.Amen
Because He who promised is faithful.

God places you in circumstances to strengthen your faith.
In the book of 1 kings 17, God told Elijah to go to a widow in the Land of Zarephath, and God commanded that the woman would provide for Elijah.

But when Elijah got there and asked the widow, the widow did not have enough, she only had a little bit of oil and dough left to feed herself and her son for a day and die afterwards. ( 1 kings 17:12)

But God sent Elijah there. God sent Elijah somewhere which didn’t seem to line up with what He had promised.
Yes Elijah got to the widow, but the widow didn’t have the provision.
Because It was God who was going to provide. Not the widow. When God sends us to go somewhere or go and do something, or go to someone to get something, the provision is not in the place, or person, or anything, the provision is in God.

If Elijah got to the widow and the widow was rich and could feed Elijah, then that would not even build Elijah’s faith.God wanted Elijah to see right before His own eyes, that I will provide for you, not man, its through me that you will get what I have promised you not man.

Sometimes God puts us in situations to stir our faith. He won’t put you in a place where there is abundance. He puts you in a situation where there is lack , so you can exercise the faith He has given you to bring abundance where you are.

How would our faith grow if we knew how everything was going to happen. Elijah could have sat down and said” but God you said the woman will provide, but she doesn’t have enough”. But Elijah had faith in God and the words God spoke to Him , so He spoke according to His faith. He didnt need to go back to God and ask again, because God had already said it.

Hebrews 11:1 faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Elijah’s faith was strengthened because He spoke the very word that God had given Him concerning His provision and there was provision.

Isaiah 55:11
so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Sometimes we may find ourselves in places God told us to go, people God told us will help us. But we have to realise that the provision is not in the place or the person, our provision is in God. The place is where God has chosen to manifest His provision, the people are vessels God has chosen to use. But God Himself is the one who will make it happen.

Speak the word that God has given you concerning your situation. It may not look like what God has promised right now, but as you speak with faith and move with faith It will happen. Have faith!! Din’t give up !!!

Numbers 23:19
19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

You are chosen, set apart to bring glory to God’s name.
God has chosen you. You to come on this earth. You to be His vessel. You to manifest His glory. Out of the many sperms that could have germinated your mothers egg, you were chosen. You were chosen for such a time as this. You are chosen for a purpose. You are not useless or good for nothing. You are not worthless. You have worth, you have purpose. And not just that you are selected that way, but God has chosen you. He brought you here because His love had to manifest. You are a manifestation of God’s love. Theres something so great within you that He couldn’t keep you alone. He has plans that He wants to manifest through you. Just as they say , if you love someone, you will let them go. God couldn’t keep you, He had to release you for others to see His glory, for others to see the amazing works of His hands. Everything He created has purpose, but more importantly, you are the purpose behind His creation. His love is soo deep that He had to manifest you.

God created Esther for a specific time for a specific purpose. God has placed you here for a specific time, for a specific purpose. He could have brought you forth in 1880, but He brought you forth, in this time, for this generation, in this century.
Romans 8:19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.
You are a child of God, you are the daughter of a king, you are a son of the most high. You are not a mistake. Even if the very people who carried you say you are a mistake. Even if the circumstances around you doesn’t make sense. You are loved and cherished and chosen by God for such a time as this. Even if those who are supposed to cater for you abandon you, you have purpose. Purpose is not based on the creation, but its based on the mind behind the creator. And God’s thoughts towards you are loving , are good and not of evil. All manner of things may be happening around us in this world. But they do not manifest the thoughts of God for you and for this world. God’s thoughts are to bring you to an expected end.

Only God can raise an orphan like Esther, and set her high to be a princess. You are God’s princess, your heavenly father cares about every detail of your being. The fact that Esther did not have a mother didn’t stop her from leading other women. Sometimes God will use us in the areas in which we lack, the areas in which we struggle in, God will help you overcome so others can know of His love and glory.

Esther’s story tells us , it doesn’t matter how you begin, God can raise you up and use you beyond your mind could comprehend.

God wants to write your story, your story may have began in abuse, in insecurity, in brokeness, in lonliness, from being abandoned. But God wants to write your story of a fulfilled life,
Just like Esther the beginning of your story does not predict your ending. Your end will be good, your end will be a complete contrast from your beginning.

Esther’s background did not stop her from becoming a queen. Your bad experiences in life, whether you were rejected or neglected does not determine who you are. You are God’s child.

In life we have to learn to close chapters from the past that weigh us down. That make us think whether we are suitable to reach and achieve greatness. We didn’t see anywhere in the book of Esther, where she wondered if she could make it because of her lineage, or her past. To be honest Esther kept quiet about that fact that she was a jew. Thats because Its who God said ” she is that will determine where she was going, not what society thought.

When we come to Christ we are a new creation. We must not allow the lies from the past, the incidents to determine who we are. Jesus has put to death the old you.

Don’t abuse the power you have been given

Don’t abuse the power you have been given.

image

Its important that when God blesses us to excel and lifts us up that we treat others rightly.

We shouldn’t use the authority or the role we have been given to suppress others. It doesn’t matter if we have received awards or if we have a role as a leader at church , we should remember that God loves us as much as He loves those who have less in wealth or authority than us , whether it be physical or spiritual.

We shouldn’t abuse the power we have been given. The greatest leader is one who knows how to serve others. Because they do not see leadership as an opportunity to control others , but an opportunity to bring the best out of others.

They will not allow their positions to blind them and treat others as though they are inferior to them. Because they realise that it is God that brings growth. They realise that no matter their authority they are not more human than someone who doesn’t have the same authority.

Don’t use your authority to abuse others. Use your authority to bring the best out of others , so God will be glorified.

In the book of Esther 3, Haman was promoted by King Ahasuerus, and He had been given great authority in the land by the king. The bible says ” the king advanced Haman and set his seat above all the princes who were with Him.

But Haman abused the authority He had been given by planning to destroy all the Jews because Mordecai( Esther’s uncle refused to bow) . Because Mordecai would not bow He planned to kill Him and everyone else from His clan.
Haman was given authority but He wanted to use what He had to suppress others who had less authority than Him.

It is not in God’s will that anyone will be suppressed by their fellow Human being. It is not in God’s will that anyone should use their authority to abuse others. It is not in God’s will that anyone should be treated badly because of their background or position.
Whats so amazing is that the same person Haman planned to destroy , was the same person God lifted up and replaced Haman’s position with. God can always replace and remove us from any position if we treat others badly and do not humble ourselves. God removed Haman from His seat and replaced Him with the same person He was planning to oppress and destroy. We must be careful who we treat badly, in fact we must treat everyone with love. The tables can switch at anytime. If we are not willing to love and serve others when God has blessed us , God can take it all away.
Love others and treat others with Love, because their background or position does not define who they are. The same God who created you created them and Loves them as much as He loves you.

God will reward You in His time… Wait

image

In the book of Esther 2:21
Mordecai saved King Ahasuerus life, by reporting to Esther to inform the king that two of the King’s Enuchs were plotting to kill him.
But the king did not thank Mordecai for what He had done. The king did not reward Mordecai. But God saw what Mordecai had done. God saw that Mordecai had not be rewarded for been a good man. God saw and did not forget about Mordecai but it seemed like the King had forgotten. But as long as God has seen that is enough. You don’t need man to recognise you, even if they don’t recognise you, you should not worry. Because God Himself has seen you and will reward you for your good works. And when God rewards you , you will not forget. You will know that God has His eyes on you and His word does not return to Him void.

Man may not recognize you because they forgot , or sometimes it could even be intentional. But it doesn’t matter because God sees and knows.
Matthew 10:30 ; God knows how many hairs you have on your head.

But straight after Mordecai’s good works, somebody else had been rewarded; Haman. Haman was promoted and was given alot of authority.

We didnt see Mordecai been rewarded straightaway. And that makes me understand that sometimes, after you have done a good deed, or you have helped others or you have been there for others and have been selfless. Nobody recognizes you, its as if they did not see you do it at all. Its as if what you did was invisible to man. But just know that it wasnt invisible to God. And God will bless you for obeying His word and the good you are doing. Don’t be shocked if you don’t recieve the reward straightaway, don’t be aggregaited, don’t be furious. Just give thanks to God, you have not been forgotten. Because there will be a time where you will enjoy the fruits of your goodness.

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

You are not rewarded now because God has a set time for everything. You are not rewarded now, because God is planing How He can reward you greatly. You are not rewarded now because the time is not yet.
After you sit an exam, there is a period of waiting for the examiners to mark your work, and a period where they will tally your marks and release your results. The results of all your hard work, is not released on the same day in any major exams. But because you know you studied , you believe and expect to do well.
God reminded the King at the appointed time to bless Mordecai. In Esther 6:1,
The King could not sleep. What would make the king sleepless, after sleeping well many nights of not rewarding Mordecai. That day the King Recognized Mordecai. When God is ready to release your reward, it doesn’t matter what the situation is Your blessings will arrive.

The King may not have heared God say reward Mordecai now, but God orchestrated Mordecai’s blessings to be released at a time where a grave was been dug for Him.
God knew when the right time was to reward Mordecai. And God knows the set time to reward you.
And at the appointed time, Mordecai was rewarded. And Mordecai was rewarded greatly.

So be patient for God to reward you. Don’t rush to hear congratulations from man. Just Know that You have Abba Father who sees everything you do , and He will reward you in His time.

Not on God’s watch

Sometimes there may have been decisions taken without you even knowing about what was happening. Its not because you chose not to be there, its because you were not even aware that such a thing was happening. Its not because God didnt want you to know. Its because God wants you to learn to trust Him, even when something looks final in the eyes of man. God wants you to know that, even if you were not aware that such a thing was happening He does. He is aware, He is all knowing. God did not tell you such and such was plotting, and such and such is going to happen. Because He wants you to be aware He is working behind the scenes. The things you are unaware of , or you don’t understand is all going to work out for your good.

Sometimes you only find out about the outcome of situations and you may be surprised by what has happened. But hold on, trust God, He will make all things work together for your good. You may not understand now, but He does.

In the book of Esther 3, Haman had already been to see the king and finalised a decision to kill the jews. Mordecai was not even aware that the decision had been finalised. He was not there when Haman, went to the King to organise for the jews to be killed. Mordecai was not there , But God was. The king decision had been confirmed, sealed, but Mordecai did not know. Even Esther who was in the Kings palace was not aware that such a decision had been finalised and a plot organised, but God was aware.
God will not allow decisions about you to be taken out of your hands. They think they have made decisions without you in it, but God’s hands is already in it, And so you don’t have to be there , the decisions will work in your favour… Rest .. God has got your back covered

The fact that the decisions were made right under esther’s nose, didnt mean that God could not turn it around. Some decisions are made, even without your consultation, but God will have the final say. Whether you were aware or unaware, God will have the final say. So rest in Him.
They plotted without you knowing, but Their plots are not unknown to God. You didnt know a storm was coming, but God allowed the storm to come , so you can be aware of the greatness He has placed in you to overcome that storm. ; an overcoming spirit ; You are more than a conqueror
The steps of the righteous are ordered. You don’t have to know what has been layed down to divert your steps. Because God has His eyes on you. Whether you know what ‘s coming or not, He will direct your steps.

God allowed the decision to finalise, so you can understand when He says there is nothing too hard for Him. It doesn’t matter how far from coming back to life that decision looks. It doesn’t matter how long the situation has remained dormant.it doesnt matter what shock and effects the decision has created, God is able to turn it around. He can do exceedingly abundantly , above all that we could ever ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians3:20)

It is better to step out and fail , than to sit back and do nothing at all.

Sometimes you don’t know the outcome of some decisions you are about to take. The decision might mean, you can loose it all or you can gain. The decision might mean you take action now and have faith that God will come through or sit there in the problem.

The thing about life is problems don’t dissolve away. We must make the step of praying to God about the problem and seeking God’s face for a solution. God requires us to step outside of our comfort zone, because we can’t get comfortable in our problems. We must move before the problems move us. We cannot sit down and cover up issues, when God asks us to cast all our burdens unto Him for He cares for us.( 1 peter 5:7) We must keep praying until something happens.

In the Book of Esther chapter 4.
Queen Esther came to a place where she could have sat down and watched her people perish, or get out of her comfort zone and seek God’s hand to save the life’s of her people.
There are certain times in life where it looks like making a decision puts you at risk, certain people may walk away, and you may loose what was keeping you comfortable. But those decisions when taken with faith will not only bring you out of your comfort zone, but can bring out the potential you never saw in yourself.

Queen Esther could have sat in the palace, and thought “well my name hasn’t been mentioned as part of those Haman was going to kill, so am safe.”
Even though Esther knew she was at risk of being put to death if she visited the king, she boldly stepped out.

God’s decisions overpower the laws set by man. God’s decisions does not wait on man’s laws to be made. His ways are truly not our ways, neither are His thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.)
God had already created the whole universe and it runs as God has already spoken in the beginning. Therefore nothing can go beyond what God himself has already commanded. Jesus is the beginning and the end, the author and creator of the universe.

The way He commanded the sun and moon to appear it does. The way He commanded the sea to stop at the borders it does. The way He commanded man to increase and multiply its happening. Therefore can He not command a situation any situation in your life? Is there anything too hard for God?

But before God made a way even with laws restricting Esther to go to the king, Esther fasted. Esther knew that it was not going to happen until she surrender the situation to God. Esther had to deny what made her comfortable. She had to deny herself

There’s a saying which goes ” if you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done”.

That something you have to do, will be something you’ve not done. Because you are expecting to see a change.
